Our student photographers and #athletes have been hard at work this spring! Most recently, they’ve been learning about sports #photography, as well as participating in drills and competitive play to improve their footwork. Really proud of their efforts! 🙌

Introducing our #photographers ✨ They are currently learning how and why to adjust the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. This is very technical, analytical work with the camera—and they are up for the challenge!

In these projects from a recent Celebrating Art contest, students experimented with oil pastels, markers, acrylic paints, graphite pencils, Model Magic, and more. Proud of their willingness to be #risktakers by trying new mediums and techniques in their work. 🙌

Welcome, Miss Ramírez! She is our first-ever teacher intern, and she used to be one of my students at @SouthportMiddle. She is now a junior, majoring in Spanish and French, as well as preparing to become an EL teacher. We are very excited to have her joining us this semester! ☺️

Students have been working hard on homework, #art projects, and #photography skills. They will be ready to share some of their work soon! They also recently picked out some warm clothes from the center to enjoy wearing for the remainder of this winter. 💙❄️
