For all the neuroimaging nerds working with FreeSurfer and struggling to extract data for custom parcellations:๐ง ๐ป
fsatlas makes it simple to bridge the gap between recon-all and any atlas.
#Neuroscience#Python#OpenScience#FreeSurfer
๐ ๏ธ How it works:
Complete your FreeSurfer run.
Use fsatlas to map your custom parcellations.
Get clean, analysis-ready tables.
Simple as that.

What a hackathon for the #Python for #Neuroscience course! ๐ง ๐ป As the course lecturer, it's incredibly rewarding to see students embrace collaborative coding. This fundamental skill is key to tackling complex research and ensuring reproducible science. Excited for their impact!
Cracking the code! ๐ง ๐ป
Students in the "#Python for #Neuroscience" course wrapped up an intense 48-hour hackathon, tackling real-world research problems with code - from EEG and AI to proteins and neural networks.

Cracking the Code!
Over the past two days, the final hackathon of the "#Python for #Neuroscience" course took place. During the course, students learned to program in Python, with an emphasis on using the scientific stack packages. The goal was to equip students with the tools >>
For 48 hours, the students tried to address these problems in a way that encourages and enables further collaboration and continued work on these solutions in the future.
Thanks to the course team: Prof. Pablo Blinder, Gal Kepler and Dr. Zvi Baratz.

Excited to be presenting a poster at #OHBM2023 in Montrรฉal! ๐จ๐ฆ๐ง
If you happen to be around, visit me at Poster #2193 on gray matter plasticity and hear what can be achieved after only 2 months of trumpet learning ๐บ
See you there!
@AssafLab@OHBM
I'm a very serious researcher ๐คช.
I'm also at #OHBM2023, and happy to talk (seriously) about MD changes in reap life training, how learning to code affects the brain and my plans for integrating connectivity data into this work.
Find me at poster #2191!๐ง ๐ฉโ๐ป
@AssafLab@OHBM
We're still at @OHBM! Come find us today and tomorrow, we'd be happy to talk about real-life learning experiences' effect on MD in the gray matter:
๐บ @AmirMano_'s work on music training at poster #2193
๐ฉโ๐ป @RonnieKrupit's work on learning to code at poster #2191

If you're here at @OHBM, Come visit @GalKepler in Poster #740
To hear about his robust paradigm for controlling for out-of-scope variables in longitudinal MRI studies using ML.
Gal will be presenting in the poster sessions today and tomorrow!
Interested in longitudinal MRI analysis? ๐ง
Check out my poster on controlling for out-of-scope variables in longitudinal analyses using ML! ๐
Find me at Poster #740 to chat about what to consider a covariate in our work (hint: why not all?)
See you there! #OHBM2023@AssafLab
Attending #OHBM2023? So are we!
Check out all of our posters here at @OHBM, or meet us at the stand-by sessions in person!
@GalKepler@RonnieKrupit@AmirMano_ and Itay Shamir will be happy to chat about their works.
@emilymbender If you are not doing anything fancy with latex this might work: `pandoc -s -S --biblio paper.bib paper.tex -o paper.docx`, including generating the bibliography
