"“I believed I was doing the right thing reporting to the US government about the crimes of a man and his family vying for the highest office in the world,” Luft told me in a message smuggled out of his jail cell last month... “I could not expect that six years later, I would write this from a prison cell while Hunter Biden is pardoned for all his criminal actions."
Gal Luft's transformative book shows how, even in our own prisons -- broken relationships, professional setbacks and inner struggles -- the soul can break free. https://t.co/hRhOP8qna4
In a prison cell in Cyprus, Gal Luft - the first whistleblower to alert the FBI about the Biden family’s China ties and an FBI misconduct scandal - found Divine guidance in Scripture - his Or (light) in the tunnel. Check out his new book, Prisoner of Or. (link in first comment)
An Israeli-American think tank official, Gal Luft, worked closely with Patrick Ho, but told FBI agents in 2019 that someone had tipped off the company about the FBI investigation.
The IG report finds the leaker was McGonigal

My thoughts about Parshat VaYakhel (Exodus 35:1-38:20)
After the crisis of the golden calf, the Israelites mobilize for the task of building the Tabernacle with unprecedented enthusiasm. Moses appeals for donations of gold, silver, copper, the building materials and utensils for the tabernacle. He appeals to craftsmen, “wise-hearted” men, to contribute their talents.
Men and women with unbounded generosity contribute precious metals, wool, linen, yarn and jewelry. The enthusiasm is so great that the craftsmen ask Moses to stop the supply, because they can’t use so much.
In life, as in the Torah, there are times when all could have been lost, but suddenly it wasn't. A butterfly flapped its wings, the timeline shifted, and life was forever changed. We were saved. Turning points. The moment when a person has nearly lost all that is dear to him. The dog that ran into the road and almost got run over; a relative who had a heart attack and survived; a child in a car accident who emerged with a broken leg; a crisis that almost led to a breakup; an employee who nearly got fired; a commander who almost lost a soldier in battle.
The golden calf was when the Children of Israel almost lost God. But when they got a second chance, they embraced and cherished God by enthusiastically participating in building the Tabernacle.
In the months before the October 7, 2023 attack, the people of Israel took things for granted. Israelis fought, complained, threatened each other. Under a slightly different set of circumstances, on October 7th, Israel could have lost everything. Some did. But when disaster struck, the country came to its senses. Like the Israelites in the desert, masses volunteered, enlisted, donated. Suddenly, Israel became more beautiful.
Indeed, only when you almost lose something do you truly appreciate what you have. Sometimes the wheel can’t be turned back and it’s too late. With God’s mercy, we can get a second chance.America was also almost lost to the chaos of an alien invasion and the self-destruction brought on by the woke mindvirus. God offered us a second chance by saving President Donald Trump from the assassin’s bullet.
Being an inmate was not part of my life plan, but as is often the case, God is a creative screenwriter. He challenges us to plot twists and turns, thrills and at times tragedy. When the Almighty wants you to start a new chapter, He shatters the ground beneath you and drops you into a hole. But He also gives you the tools for a fresh start. If you search in the darkness, you can find scraps of wood and rope to build your ladder and climb out.
In prison, self-pity is not a workplan. Overcoming adversity means a strict routine, social activity and setting goals. My calling was to read the entire Torah and write about its central themes. There have been physical constraints to my project: dim lighting, endless yelling, no desk. At one point, my main work tool, my pen, was stolen. A side effect of living among thieves.
Everyone faces challenges, some bigger, some smaller. Perhaps the thoughts of a man who has temporarily lost his freedom and believes no challenge is insurmountable can help you transcend your place of confinement -- in the relationship with your children, your spouse, your friend, your colleague or your relationship with God.
The Torah is divided into some 54 portions that are read aloud in synagogue on the Sabbath. Jews read the entire Torah every year, and we still find pearls of wisdom and salient lessons for our lives. With no synagogue “inside,” I hold a weekly roundtable with the Jewish prisoners to talk about the biblical themes’ resonance with our lives.
Torat Emet, the Torah of Truth, offers trans-historic insights into all human behaviors and pathologies, reminding us that “nothing is new under the sun.” The Torah is the user-manual for humanity, as applicable to the modern world as it was to Jews thousands of years ago.
The Torah is the most ancient depiction of nation building, a guide for how to turn misguided slaves into a disciplined and united citizenry. It is a self-help book which offers the path to a meaningful and balanced life. Most of all, it is a love story, a multi-centennial drama about the complex relationship between God and His children.
I have tried to capture these facets of the Torah which I plan to convey to you. If my effort stimulates one of you to fall in love with the Torah, as I have, my time in prison was worthwhile.

@mirandadevine We need to correct all of the Biden admin's vindictive wrongs, @AGPamBondi and @FBIDirectorKash, @Kash_Patel
Justice for Gal Luft and all FBI agents who didn't receive it to this day, even if late! Better late than never.
The World Turned Upside Down
Hunter #Biden, with round-the-clock Secret Service protection, lives it up in South Africa, while whistleblower Gal Luft rots in prison. When the guilty roam free and the truth-teller suffers, the system is broken!

🚨 🇺🇸 BIDEN WHISTLEBLOWER LANGUISHES IN CYPRUS JAIL WHILE HUNTER ENJOYS LUXURY VACATION
Gal Luft, who reported Biden family's Chinese payments to FBI in 2019, faces extradition on charges filed just before Republicans took House control.
The Israeli-American professor has allegedly been assaulted and threatened by fellow inmates during six months of detention.
Meanwhile, Hunter Biden reportedly enjoys Secret Service protection during South African getaway despite his felony conviction.
Devine questions why Trump administration hasn't intervened to help the key Biden corruption witness.

Did you know that Mordechai was the world’s first whistleblower?
The Book of Esther tells us that as he was sitting at the gates of the Persian King Ahasuerus, Mordechai learned that two of the king’s guards, Bigtan and Terash, had conspired to assassinate the king.
Mordechai reported the conspiracy to his cousin Queen Esther. The two guards were hanged and the matter was recorded for posterity in the King’s book of records.
Mordechai’s whistleblowing was one of the events that later led to the salvation of the Jewish nation when the Jews faced the risk of annihilation at the hands of the evil Haman. “That night, the King’s sleep was disturbed and he asked to bring the book of record so it should be read before the king.” When Mordechai’s report of the assassination plot was read to him, the King asked “What honor and greatness was done for Mordechai for this?” The answer was that nothing had been done for Mordechai. The King of the Persian Empire understood the mistake and ordered that Mordechai be clothed in royal garment and crown and paraded through the city square on a horse on which the King had ridden.
As these words are written, I am in prison in Cyprus because I too blew the whistle. Six years ago, I reported to the authorities of today’s great power about the crimes of its now former leader, a man who was then on the cusp of vying for the highest office in the land. Instead of being celebrated, I was hunted, persecuted, prosecuted and imprisoned.
Like Mordechai, I am strong in my faith and principles and I will never bend to power.
The miracle of the salvation of the Jews is celebrated every year on Purim during the Jewish month of Adar, in the early days of spring, one month before Passover. It starts this evening.
This year's Purim, take a moment to think of the whistleblowers.
Happy Purim.
"Gal Luft is still languishing in a horrible Cyprus jail because the SDNY indicted him under FARA, a little used foreign lobbying charge until the Get-Trump era, which could have appropriately been investigated many times over with the Bidens but never was."
"Why did the SDNY indict Biden corruption whistleblower Gal Luft just before Republicans took control of the House, when he would have testified to the Biden impeachment committee?"

Another example of the deep state targeting whistleblowers, Gal Luft did the right thing by coming forward with info on Hunter Biden's shady dealings in China.
The SDNY's actions are a clear attempt to silence those who dare to speak out against the Biden family's corrupt activities, this is not what our justice system should be about.
We need more transparency and accountability, not the persecution of patriots like Gal Luft who are trying to expose the truth, Trump's reforms are exactly what we need to clean up this mess.
