@Cuteknick@NBATopShot They don’t understand that a collectible is a network business, and treat it like they are selling widgets.
If the leadership team ever started to treat it like a network business things could be a lot better.
If they don’t then the network will erode 😭
@Cuteknick@StephenCurry30@NBATopShot@Cuteknick I hope you are having a great year!
I have one of these Stephs :-) Would love to talk about a deal if you are in the market these days. Starting a new company and would part with some special TS / AD
@HugeEgoSorry1 @NFLALLDAY@NBATopShot I (along w many others) have been saying that the only marketing that will help TS move from v niche to normal collectible lvl niche (and maybe more) is stable/rising prices for a prolonged period of time. Imho - all marketing dollars should be redirected *directly* to that goal
@TopShotHotShot1 I’ve been thinking about the card collectors. Did they create the card shows or did the companies? I wonder if the community can build the collecting experience they are looking for organically
@mbl267_NFT Trade tickets are a misguided attempted solution to the core problem, which is that there is not enough demand for existing supply
I wouldn’t mind if they offered a buyback of some sort and the bought back moments were burned
@dbfeld@NBATopShotThis@NFLALLDAY Hope special serials get some love on AllDay. Jersey / #1 are the PSA 10 equivalents, and it would be amazing if AD recognizes that in a way TS never did
@to_tal_ly I’ve been thinking about this a bit lately. Would love to hear what pain points you are hitting with existing stuff if you are down to chat :-)
@mbl267_NFT@flowty_io Either a LBJ jersey / #1 debut (I’m actually not sure which variant will be the most coveted) - or it has to be a Brady debut / legendary
