@spencerpratt@AwakenedOutlaw Spencer, file a Statement of Write-In Candidacy (with sponsor signatures) with the Los Angeles City Clerk before October 20, and then everybody write "Spencer Pratt" in on their ballot! 😃
@SteveHiltonx And Steve, housing costs!! Here in the South Bay, right now 3 bedroom *apartments* are going for $5K/mo! Houses and townhomes even more! And a single ROOM goes for $1,800/mo! We need you as our Governor SO BAD to fix this mess! 🙏🏻
@mattvanswol Then if he is incapable to proceed on accountability for his actions then he should also be incapable to proceed as a living human being in our society.
It's been very hard, I can tell you that! I second what someone said about Rush Limbaugh. He was our daily dose of sanity and humor. Many of us also had our churches and our own walk with God to keep us grounded and sane. I do love stories like yours of people who "woke up" - it's gratifying to know that it can happen! 😃👍🏼
@ericmetaxas Somebody sure needs to. Honestly, I thought Pastor Clarence Sexton got this all squared away, but evidently not. If he is in fact saved, he needs to learn about eternal security, and he needs to grow spiritually. So much uncertainty right now.
Congrats! 😊 I would recommend John first, and then Romans. The books of Matthew, Mark, and Luke are a re-telling of John from other perspectives. Acts tells you what the early church was like. After awhile, Genesis would be good, just to gain perspective as to how it all began. The more you read, the more revealing and beautiful the interwoven truths become.
@Notwokenow KJV will be just fine. Give it time. It gets easier with deeper familiarity. Use a dictionary if you're stuck on a word. The more you read, the more is revealed to you by other, supporting Scripture. Nothing can beat it in the grand scheme of things.
Do a little research online first. Look for a place that promotes this message (here). It won't be easy, but try to find one that sings hymns, out of a hymnal if possible. When you visit, it should feel vibrant, alive, happy. You should be warmly greeted. You should think "These people love the Lord!" It should not feel somber or spooky. The message from the Pastor should resonate truth in your heart, and be clearly based on scripture, not the "approved" messaging from society today. If you see causes and flags promoted instead of Jesus, it's not the right place.

@matt_vanswol Right, you were comparing on the wrong pole before. This one is a better comparison, but I submit the perfect pole to use is: The One True God. This one pushes both of those groups to the far end, no matter their other differences.
NEW: China launches its first humanoid robot soccer league in Beijing.
This is way more entertaining than regular soccer.
The AI-controlled robots were supplied by Booster Robotics for the tournament and have the skills of 5 to 6 year old children.
Robots were seen getting carried off the field on stretchers after falling over.
Booster Robotics founder Cheng Hao says the robots' abilities will exponentially increase over time and will eventually challenge adult teams.
"We chose the football scenario for robot competition primarily for two reasons: first, to encourage students to apply their algorithmic skills to real-world robotics," Cheng said.
"Second, to showcase the robots' ability to walk autonomously and stably, withstand collisions, and demonstrate higher levels of intelligence and safety."
@DaveySloan24@lauraannguy@altonbrown Interesting. That’s a good question! Marinated? Kept in a broth? By the time it gets to 165° on my grill, it tends to be dry. I recently moved it away from direct heat at 162° and let it sit a minute, and it was a bit better.
@lauraannguy@altonbrown I came across this chart posted online last week that shows how many minutes or seconds are needed to kill bacteria at any temperature. Apparently 165° is recommended because it's just a few seconds. But it can also ruin your chicken.
