Blackwood teases, though it sounded more like a poorly disguised insult.

He turns to face Shadow, watching him closely.

“But enough about me. I want to hear about you now. You seem rather intriguing, it’s not everyday a Royal stops by.”

Blackwood turns, motioning for Shadow to follow him as he leads the king through the halls of his castle.

“I inherited this castle from my father. I took it upon myself to preserve both it and my family’s legacy as… protectors, of sorts.”

@ChaosLord89 “You would be correct in your assumption! I inherited this castle, and have dutifully cared for it since with the help of my lovely servants.”

He explains calmly. He tilts his head at Shadow’s words, his smile remaining but his eyes narrowing a fraction.

“Cautious? Nonsense.”

@ChaosLord89 “Ultimate lifeform, mm?” He circles Shadow slowly, looking him over with barely contained curiosity. “That’s quite the title to give to oneself.”

He clears his throat, stopping in front of the hedgehog and offering his hand. “I am Blackwood, master of this castle.”
