In January, @liverpoolhopeUK hosted their third screening of Hostile to students in Social Sciences. Afterwards, students discussed the experiences of some of the people in the documentary. Thanks to @SimocbPalladin for hosting the screening and to all the students who took part!
Thank you so much, Mr Mayor, for extending free school meals across London for another year. Now every child in the city, whatever their circumstances, will have access to nutritious food, helping them to thrive. It takes real courage to stand alone and blaze a trail, and Sadiq's bold, brilliant move should be a wake-up call for anyone who is committed to a brighter, healthier future for our kids. This needs to be rolled out across the country. Let's make that happen.
Watch @AndyMcDonaldMP grilling the current Post Office CEO Nick Read last June
"What is so extraordinary about you that you feel you deserve a whacking bonus of £455,000 to make your total pay £870,000"
Andy: The metric used to calculate part of the Post Office executives' bonuses was based on false information in the accounts relating to the inquiry into the Horizon scandal.
Andy: The executives must return all inquiry-related bonuses immediately
Has Yorgos made his best film? Poor Things opens on Friday- see it in 35mm @CentralPictureH and everywhere @picturehouses from Friday- its sooooo good! and for the super fans, a beautiful turn by Fassbinder favorite the wonderful Hanna Schygulla💓
After the effect of 'Mr Bates vs the Post Office', let’s hope Toby Jones is also working on new TV dramas about water pollution, climate change, covid, PPE contracts, the refugee crisis, the cost of living, energy prices, and the NHS
Very saddening to read about the passing of Jess Search, Co-Founder and CEO of the @TheDocSociety. She was an inspiration to Dir Sonita Gale when it came to impact campaigning, and using film as a force to change the world for the better.

Following the Illegal Migration Bill passage comes news that refugees from Honduras and Namibia must have visas to enter the UK. The gov says they want to stop people smugglers, yet are restricting all other safe ways to claim asylum. Article @theipaper: https://t.co/Jmzx85Fzdo
Incredibly distressing to see the Illegal Migration Bill pass in the House of Lords last night. It will cause immeasurable suffering to innocent people. Everyone should read @EnverSol comment piece on this heartless legislation #hostileenvironment
