Crews were able to get out to flood the Squirrely Whirly Skating Loop today. The loop IS open to the public, but please be aware that the warm temperatures have degraded the ice conditions and there are uneven surfaces at this time.

In 2022, the Galloway Station Museum, Travel Centre & Archives had visitors from (at least) 8 different countries! These only include those who signed our guestbook...we likely had many more!
We are looking forward to welcoming more tourists and locals to the museum in 2023.

Although this tool is called a 'beaver bone', it clearly isn't from a beaver! This bone was used as a beaver hide scraping tool and was made from the femur of a moose. It was used on the beaver's abdomen to expose and remove the fat.
