Hi all. I've been thinking a lot lately of all the young and perhaps not so young people in Israel that have, are or will be serving in the IDF. Every Israel Jew (with some exceptions) will serve in one way or another. Young people right out of high school. "Kids" that should be planning what college to attend or where to go out that night-will put their lives on the line to protect their families, friends, neighbors and nation from extermination at the hands of savages.
Sons, daughters, brothers and sisters. And many not quite so young-yet still young-mothers and fathers will leave their families to serve. The courage they show, the dedication, the professionalism. The fear and terror they must feel. The horrors they will see, either friends lost-or the need to take a life. Horrors that they will live with the rest of their lives. Far too many will be injured or make the ultimate sacrifice.
So much respect for those warriors, and so much absolute rage for the savages that make these sacrifices necessary. Everyone in Israel has family, friends or neighbors serving right now. Many Jews in America have families or friends in Israel that are. Far too many have seen the horrors of war. No nation should have to fight so hard and sacrifice so much for their very survival. The small size of the nation means many could drive from their homes to the front lines in a hour. Such a difference between Americans serving half-way around the world-not that they aren't equally deserving in respect. It's just different when you're fighting for your family's survival.
I have a request. Please keep them, and their families in your thoughts and prayers. Please send prayers, or if you are an atheist as I am, your best wishes for their safe return. Good luck, good hunting...and please come home to your families.
One more request. Today, Saturday, while many of our Jewish and Israeli friends are off-line for Shabbat, please, post a sign of support, an Israeli flag, a few words of support. They deserve it, and it would be a nice thing for them to see when they return.
@IsraelSpoofX The only 2 they have are C and D. They have the F-35, a stealth fighter that can drop a limited number of bombs, but no actual bomber. US should sell them some B-21s. Or give them our old B-2s when the Raiders come on line.
@garretthardin93@StopAntisemites Forget about me. Pray for the people of Israel to survive the atrocities being committed by Islamic savages. They need it.
@garretthardin93@StopAntisemites You're not really dumb enough to believe that, are you? Why not just put on your pointy white hood and call for the genocide of Jews, instead of hiding behind lies and a veil of virtue signaling?
Ask yourself-how many Islamic majority nations make up the UN. And how many Jewish majority ones. Islamic savages have been committing (or at least attempting) a genocide against the people of Israel since the day of it's birth. 3/4 of a century of atrocities. Wars of extermination. Tens of thousands of rockets fired at civilian homes. 2 intifadas. Beheadings. Strangling babies to death with their bare hands. Dismembering innocent people-with their bare hands. Mass rapes. Knives shoved up women's vaginas. Those are the monsters attacking Israelis. Those that you support and empower by your message. OK Nazi. Wait-there were some "good Nazis"-that tried to save Jewish lives. There are no "good Gazans". They elected Hamas to power because they promised to exterminate Jews.
NEW: @FreeBeacon has the receipts on Ro Khanna’s obscene, oligarchic wealth:
—his 2 kids (under 10yrs old) own 3 private golf courses in Ohio (not kidding)
—his wife drives a $190,000 luxury Range Rover
—his house has a 4-story indoor elevator

Good take on The Fountainhead. It takes her principles and applies them to one individual and the people and immediate culture around him. Atlas Shrugged expands on those, presents them across a wide range of individuals and society as a whole. I prefer Atlas, but both are powerful. The Fountainhead is a bit more...subtle, and focused more on creativity regarding art (including architecture). Atlas-to business, to a much broader base. Francisco's Money Speech is perhaps the greatest few paragraphs in any book.
@daveatherton I think it's too late to "keep everything within the rule of law" if Western civilization is going to survive. We let it go on for too long.
@nickshirleyy@NYCMayor@ZohranKMamdani Democrats lie. We call it "taqiyya" when Muslims do it to push their shit-we need a name for Democrats when they do.
