BEING SHY MAKES YOU LOSE IN LIFE
Be egoistical. Stop losing opportunities. Stop wasting your potential. No energy. No drive. Afraid. Depressed. Start living. Other people’s opinions don’t matter. Become unapologetic. Get aggressive with your life. Fulfill your mission. Focus on your interests. Confidence will become part of who you are.
You weren’t born shy.
Your environment forced you to be.
It all comes from your childhood, where you were taught to always please others, but all this time - it was destroying everything around you.
Most people fail not because they make the wrong move, but because they never make the first one.
Go try the idea. Fall flat on your face if you have to. The cost of inaction is almost always higher than the cost of a failed attempt.
95% people cannot sit down and do 4 hours of focused work.
If you can do two 4 hour chunks daily of zero distraction work...
No social media. No phone. Just the work. In silence.
You will become a rich mfer and beat everyone.
@jregalado@briebriejoy you aren't paying an alcohol company hundreds of dollars a month with the expectation of future health related services
if you buy a 6 pack of beer you get a 6 pack of beer you retard
what a beautiful gift it is to hit rock bottom. to be striped of any and all pride, ego, and false responsibility. to be left with nothing but possibility. a chance to climb upwards and make anew what once seemed impossible. every man, at one point in his life, could benefit from the raw, pure, and radically humbling experience of being left with nothing to realize that everything is possible.
DON’T WASTE YOUR LIFE
Be egoistical. Stop caring about what they think. Let everyone judge you. Make yourself look silly. Take risks. Embarrass yourself on purpose. Don’t be affected by their opinions. Only you exist. Become the main character. Make your life worth living. Have no regrets at the end of each day.
You’re allowing everyone to have an effect on your life resources: time, money, and energy, while neglecting what you really want from life, FROM YOUR OWN LIFE.
Embarrassment is the word used for the unconscious agreement on certain things, so you become afraid to shine.
To show your talents.
To express your preferences.
To tell people what your interests are.
Living every day chronically afraid of others’ judgment is not a life - it’s a performance.
“Don’t do this.” “Don’t do that.” “You’re embarrassing yourself.” “We want you to become XYZ.”
WHO ARE THEY to teach you how to live and tell you what to do with your life in the first place?
It’s BEYOND the absurd.
Everyone deep down knows this, but continues to ignore it and accept it as “This is what life is.”
Because their programming makes them operate in fear, their CNS has adapted to it, and the subconscious mind thinks that it’s normal.
Reprogram everything society and your family told you life is. One of the reasons why you shouldn’t listen to them about everything is because your mission is to surpass what you had in the past, so you can discover how fulfilling living can be.
the problem with tech twitter is that it's truly a bubble.
you could be working on your first project, see 100+ other founders talking about making >$10k MRR and feel like you're the only one in the world that isn't getting "rich" with AI.
the reality is that if you're building with AI, you're instantly among <1% of the population and if you've even made a single dollar off of something you've built, that number drops significantly.
keep in mind, most people are using AI as a search engine, doctor, therapist, etc - not to build a SAAS.
don't get dissuaded, you're too early.
“To be successful at anything, you don’t have to be special. You just have to be what most people aren’t: consistent, determined and willing to work for it. No shortcuts.”
— Tom Brady
Mediocrity never wins in the long-term:
“When an industry is booming mediocre gets rewarded. But over time it catches up.”
“You’ll see this when an industry doesn’t know the difference between good and great.”
“In the beginning mediocrity is applauded and financially awarded.”
Here’s an example: “In the music business we were selling CDs for $16 and people were paying for it when there was only one song on the album that they wanted. That wasn't going to sustain itself. There was something wrong with that. Why would you pay $16.99 and you only liked the first single?”
And executives were getting paid tons of money on that idea and those executives weren't even talented.”
“When I saw that I said this is going to cave in.”
one day you'll realize nobody was stopping you. you just kept negotiating with yourself, waiting for more certainty, more confidence, a better time. none of them were ever going to arrive first.
Ten lazy years can disappear the moment you lock in. Six months of discipline can erase a decade of drifting. Momentum is magic. It turns yesterday's failures into tomorrow's fuel.
