@zipiol@VGC_News They got rid of in-game maps and manual lile decades ago...
I remember when I got halo as a kind I opened up the case just to get into the booklet to tide me over a two hour drive home
@Zera429714@calopzika@gamer427_YT@yellowpkspe@GMango99@shagqz Its also an excellent storefront to play older games on modern hardware.
I can't say if it's all of them, but if its under the Good ol' Games brand it'll be guaranteed playable for modern systems
@ronik7102@gamer427_YT@yellowpkspe@GMango99@shagqz If I am in a place with terrible internet, its a nice option.
I remember one time no games would freaking launch because I had bad internet and it had to sync with the steam cloud
@ronik7102@gamer427_YT@yellowpkspe@GMango99@shagqz Have you ever actually considered the fact that steam has DRM, and because of it some games are unplayable without having steam installed?
Pretty sure using GOG, I could install saints row 2, remove gog, and it'd still play
@yellowpkspe@GMango99@shagqz That's the funpart, despite owning the game, you don't own it, you just own a license and it can be taken away from you.
Yes. That's happened before. Ubisoft shut down the servers to a game called drive, and removed it from people's libraries
