@ZachGorchow Makes me almost nostalgic for the days when I worked for NH and they told us that no budget meant you had to keep coming to work for your full regular shifts and just not get paid until a budget got passed. And then hope they passed a bill to give you back pay for those hours. ๐ฎโ๐จ
@PonchoRebound Okay, you got me curious enough to search and watch that video for the first time. Dude at the beginning has a serious addiction problem, and his dog needs to be rehomed to someone who will care for it.
Is this what a post-tiktok world looks like? I miss the cat rescue videos.โน๏ธ
@WLNS This isn't news. It was news in 1983 when it happened. Maybe read the fearmongering drek you get paid to promote before you push it out on an unsuspecting public.
@PonchoRebound Boy-o-boy. That driver's license quote person has never met a weekday commuter who has to operate heavy equipment for their job and who relaxes on the weekend with their Harley.
That said, I'm half leery about folks after their first PhD. I've met too many to do otherwise. ๐
@am_anatiala Why did this godforsaken platform think the right ad to feed me as a reply in this thread was one from the Senate Republicans saying "thank you". ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
@PonchoRebound Took me a minute to figure out you weren't using a euphemism for corn. Sweet corn season hits hard in these parts, and finding a good local fix can become an embarrassing obsession.
@SenFoongLim Can you hear the toilets calling? They yearn for the bleach and the brush. Their mournful skibididibidi calls echo down the empty hallways.
Oh wait. You were looking for wrong answers only. My mistake. ๐
@AlHendiify I have 2 questions:
1. Is this the same party that was recently carrying around specimen jars with bodily fluids in them?
2. Have any of them done the math on Barron Trump's conception?
@skwinnicki Job searches are the worst, especially when you stack up rejections. I'm taking hope from the fact that one app got me an interview and the writing assignment from another is going to be manifested into the world. Hopefully my next app turns into an offer.
@skwinnicki It's probably going to be a lot more coalition building and grant writing than sitting in the wild playing rail calls, but the folks doing on the ground work are good people to work with. https://t.co/Ev3nM7qKTL
@sailorsctaustin IS THAT THE "I VOTED" WEREWOLF FROM MICHIGAN?!?!?
https://t.co/workBBpte9
The primaries are over. Someone needs to slap an "I voted" sticker on it.
@PonchoRebound If my knowledge of anthropology tells me anything, it's that mysterious shapes are simply humanoid figurines w/ unknown cultural or religious purpose.
This metallic figurine likely served as a totem that worshippers whispered their secrets to... secrets nobody else would hear.
@beyondthepaid@MSUArchives I had to do The Pit my first term because my AP credits came in after I'd already signed up for classes. I'm so glad I only had to do it once. That was enough.
