Borderlands 4 has climbed into Steam’s top 3 following the release of Loveless, its new DLC Vault Hunter, and players are going wild over her design.
For everyone who said appealing characters don’t matter… Loveless is definitely making people look twice.
The game also has a free weekend and a 50% discount running, so the sales spike can’t be credited to her design alone.
Insomniac’s Wolverine has debuted with a 77 Metacritic score.
That currently makes it Insomniac’s lowest-rated console game in a decade, marking a noticeably more mixed critical reception compared to the studio’s recent releases.
A “Tung Tung Tung Sahur” hacker was terrorizing VALORANT lobbies, wiping entire teams in seconds. 💀
But the chaos didn’t last long.
VALORANT’s head of anti-cheat confirmed the cheater was banned after just THREE games, adding that Riot “can detect anything with time.”
🚨 BREAKING: PlayStation is officially stepping away from its collaboration with Hideo Kojima and KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS on PHYSINT.
According to Kojima, PlayStation Studios informed the studio in mid-June that it intended to cancel the PHYSINT project. Kojima Productions spent the following three months searching for a new partner to keep the game alive.
PHYSINT is still in development, with Xbox now stepping in as the project’s publishing partner, expanding its existing relationship with Kojima Productions beyond OD. 🎮
PlayStation says its broader relationship with Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions remains strong despite leaving the project.
Killzone could finally be making a comeback. 👀
According to a new report, Sony is said to be in the very early stages of reviving the franchise, with People Can Fly reportedly involved as a co-developer.
The project is believed to be either a remake or remaster, although it’s still unclear which Killzone game is being revisited. The original 2004 PS2 game is being discussed as a possible candidate.
Guerrilla Games has spent years focused on Horizon, and Killzone hasn’t had a new main release since Killzone Shadow Fall in 2013.
Playground Games has confirmed that Forza Horizon 6 is still coming to PS5 later this year. 👀
The studio told PlayStation players to “stay tuned” if they’re planning their trip to Discover Japan, confirming the PS5 version is still on the way.
Crossing GTA 6’s map could be a serious journey. 👀
According to an unofficial fan estimate, travelling from one end of the map to the other could take approximately:
🚶 Walking: 178 minutes
🚗 Driving: 35 minutes
✈️ Flying: 7 minutes
These times have not been confirmed by Rockstar Games and should be treated only as estimates. The final results could change depending on the actual map boundaries, chosen route, vehicle speed, traffic and terrain.
If the estimate is accurate, how would you explore Leonida first? 🌴
Armored Mewtwo is finally returning to Pokémon GO after being unavailable for six years.
The special version of Mewtwo was last available in 2020 and will return to five-star raids during Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Mega Finale on September 5–6.
For newer and returning players, it’s a rare opportunity to finally add Armored Mewtwo to their collection without relying on trades.
However, not every longtime player is happy.
Some veteran collectors argue that bringing Armored Mewtwo back removes much of the rarity that made the original version special, with one player calling the decision “awful for the game” and saying it makes participating in the original event feel less relevant.
Others strongly disagree, pointing out that Pokémon caught in 2019 or 2020 will still carry their original dates and that allowing more players to obtain Armored Mewtwo reduces the pressure created by FOMO.
The Witcher 4 is already running on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X, even though the game is still years away from release.
CD Projekt Red says the difficult launch of Cyberpunk 2077 completely changed how it develops games. Instead of leaving console optimization until the final stages, the studio is now testing The Witcher 4 across all target platforms much earlier in development.
The team says that if a major issue appears on one platform, development can be paused so it can be fixed before moving forward.
The Witcher 4 is being developed in Unreal Engine 5, and CDPR has already shown the game running at 60 FPS on a base PS5.
From San Andreas to Vice City, Grand Theft Auto has completely transformed over the last two decades.
2004 gave us San Andreas, an era defined by CJ, Grove Street, lowriders, gang wars, and one of the most memorable open worlds Rockstar had ever created.
Then came 2008 with GTA IV and Liberty City. Niko Bellic’s story brought a darker, more grounded tone, while the city itself felt denser, grittier, and far more realistic than anything that came before it.
In 2013, GTA V changed the scale again. Los Santos returned with Michael, Franklin, and Trevor, giving players three protagonists, a massive world, huge heists, and a game that would remain active across multiple console generations.
Now, in 2026, the series is heading back to Vice City with GTA 6. Jason and Lucia are set to lead Rockstar’s most ambitious open world yet, bringing the franchise into a completely new generation.
What makes this progression so impressive is how every era has its own identity. San Andreas had the early-2000s West Coast atmosphere, Liberty City delivered the darker urban experience, Los Santos expanded everything dramatically, and Vice City looks ready to combine modern realism with the neon Florida aesthetic fans have wanted for years.
22 years. Four unforgettable eras. One legendary franchise.
Which GTA era will always be your favorite: San Andreas, GTA IV, GTA V, or GTA 6?
GTA 6 could reportedly cost U.S. businesses around $1 billion in lost productivity when it launches on November 19.
The estimate assumes roughly 1.5 million people could take the day off work to play, using an average U.S. worker contribution to GDP of around $70,000 per year.
If those predictions are even close, November 19 could end up being one seriously unproductive Thursday across the U.S.
A PlayStation player says he booted up his old PS3 to play Metal Gear Solid 4, only to discover that his PlayStation account had been deleted after years of inactivity.
Because his digital purchases were tied to that account, he says he could no longer access the games he had previously bought.
Sony’s terms allow accounts to be closed after 36 months of continuous inactivity, although users are supposed to be notified and given a chance to log back in before deletion.
It’s another reminder of the biggest downside of digital libraries: access to your games can depend on the account and platform staying active, rather than simply owning a physical copy you can keep indefinitely.
Fable is reportedly set to take around 20 hours to complete ⚔️
Players who dive into side quests, optional activities, and extra exploration could be looking at close to double that playtime.
That would put a more complete playthrough somewhere around the 35–40 hour range, giving players plenty of time to explore Albion beyond the main story.
EA’s Iron Man game has finally resurfaced after footage from the project leaked online, nearly four years after it was first announced.
The leaked trailer appears to show an early look at the game, and EA Motive’s official account effectively confirmed the footage is legitimate by responding: “Well, that didn’t go as planned. But now you know.”
The project has been largely quiet since its reveal, so this is one of the clearest looks yet at what Motive has been building behind the scenes.
EA still hasn’t officially released the trailer or announced a launch date, but with the footage now out in the wild, fans may finally be getting closer to a proper reveal.
Rumors from Gamescom suggest Sony could be reconsidering how far it wants to push PlayStation toward digital-only releases.
According to Eurogamer Spain, some publishers are discussing whether Sony’s approach to physical games could create an opportunity for competitors to differentiate themselves.
Microsoft is reportedly telling publishers that its next console, codenamed Project Helix, will support a “100% physical” strategy, including the ability to convert physical games into digital licenses.
Another unverified claim suggests a major game publisher has warned Sony that one of its biggest upcoming titles could potentially skip PlayStation if a physical release cannot be guaranteed.
For now, none of this has been officially confirmed, so it should all be treated strictly as rumor.
Would you still buy the next PlayStation if Sony moved further toward digital-only games?
GTA 6 hype appears to be driving a major rush for the PS5 Pro.
The console is currently sold out at several major US retailers, including Best Buy and Target, while availability through Amazon and Walmart is largely limited or being dominated by third-party sellers. Some resale listings have climbed to around $1,200–$1,300.
PlayStation Direct was still showing limited PS5 Pro stock at its standard $899 price at the time of reporting, making it one of the few major places where buyers could still find one without paying a huge markup.
With GTA 6 approaching, it looks like plenty of players are already trying to secure Sony’s most powerful console before launch.
1047 Games is officially ending development on Splitgate: Reloaded and Empulse.
The studio says the games are not generating enough revenue to continue supporting development and maintaining dedicated servers.
The Witcher 4 will release in 2028.
CD Projekt Red’s next mainline Witcher game will follow Ciri as the protagonist, with the studio currently deep in development on the project.
A former Rockstar Games developer says the ongoing GTA 6 leaks are a “nothing burger” and likely won’t have much impact on the game’s launch.
According to the ex-developer, around 90% of future GTA 6 players aren’t spending their time online searching for leaked clips and gameplay snippets.
Despite the leaks spreading heavily across social media, he believes most players will experience GTA 6 without having seen much of the leaked footage beforehand.
