Tonight's game was Void Scrappers. Great music, triple weapons combine for a fun effect...chose a strategy that brought me too close to the enemy ships but still dug it! Awesome work @8BitSkull

Quick thread on why I'm digging Pixel Survivors: Roguelike from @Amrita_zx on ##screenshotsaturday

Chests!

Chests roll loot when they are opened so you need to circle back again to loot...creates a nice risk/reward moment when going back to pick up items.

Health Items!

These are relatively prevalent in most of my sessions in the game which means that penalties for taking damage isn't as steep!

[GameClub @GameClubFriends]

Heck yeah! Our #giveaway for the #indiegame Pixel Survivors: Roguelike is picking up steam!!

The key differentiator here is MULTIPLAYER!

Played with my buddy and had an absolute blast.

They also included an ultimate ability on a longer timer which altered the gameplay quite a bit.

Looking back, this was the most fun game played this week!

[GameClub @GameClubFriends]

Probably the most interesting title I played in the #indiegame Vampire Survivors lite category this week came from @SupernovaIG

[GameClub @GameClubFriends]

Big Nintendo Power & Nintendo aesthetic. First pass at the game was fun.

It's here on Steam: https://t.co/EipICthCdw

Relics (artifacts) provide in run upgrades but they don't seem to be wildly impactful. I think players need to earn ONE that shows what the system can do (in the first session) so it's a promise for what's to come from a gameplay perspective.
