Curating the unofficial John Forbes Nash Jr.'s @famous_ideal fan account.
@CIPSInsight @TWSPartners The idea by @TWSPartners is to use Prisoner's Dilemma game theory with carbon credits to achieve emission targets. At The Game Theory Guys, we believe John Nash's Ideal Money proposal can reach a "Nash bargain" through the independence of irrelevant alternatives bargaining axiom.
@kendallbaker Minimax is decision theory, Moneyball is data-driven analysis - we could generalise this in terms of win/lose games in that both assume some sort of desire of ignorance in the counter-party. But with complete information, are we approaching a "Nash program" ?
@brc20punk "The design supports a tremendous variety of possible transaction types that I designed years ago. Escrow transactions, bonded contracts, third party arbitration, multi-party signature, etc."

@brc20punk@markgoodw_in@brian_trollz I see #Bitcoin as more of an axiomatic design - and it's public domain that Satoshi asked for help with the coding - but we also know Nash had enough understanding of C++ to kick it off.
Will let you know the article link. It's currently with the Bitcoin Magazine editorial guys.
@brc20punk@markgoodw_in@brian_trollz This is how Satoshi framed the Birthday Attack and #Bitcoin if you've not already read. I like the "eat crow" comment in it later down the page, as if he's an older computer scientist and got his crow and pigeon metaphors mixed up? 😆

@dg115511@WaterTheRust Ironic, was reading the obituary of Francis Coppola's wife earlier this morning - apparently she made a documentary on the film which ran out of actors, money, and helicopters.
@brc20punk A summary of Leslie Lamport's Byzantine Generals' Problem might also be relevant here, and also the Birthday Attack - both of which Satoshi addressed in various postings with regards to his #Bitcoin design.
