Today's Black American (Freedmen) inventor is George Carruthers. He invented the far-ultraviolet camera/spectrograph, which detects light invisible to the human eye. His camera produced the first ultraviolet images of Earth, revealing the geocorona, the massive hydrogen cloud that surrounds our planet and stretches tens of thousands of miles into space.
Carruthers’ groundbreaking instrument was carried to the Moon during the Apollo 16 Moon landing. Astronauts placed it on the lunar surface, where it became the first astronomical observatory ever operated from the surface of a celestial body beyond Earth. #BlackHistoryMonth

@Trojansfan23@DrAlmarielao Theres poor tippers of every race of people. I’ve seen black people generously tip. I’ve also seen white people not leave a tip but I didn’t group them in a category of non tippers 🤡
@LAteudjieu@JaeBaddd You speak of intelligence and black folks created most inventions that we still use today. People have a lot of built up animosity against us because of jealousy and we remain resilient through it all. Only God is the judge when it’s said and done not you or anyone else.
@LAteudjieu@JaeBaddd We’re not jealous of you guys trust me it’s usually the other way around and this is from personal experience. You typed all that and still didn’t make a point I’m proud to be black and wouldn’t want to be anything else.
