We had a great day at #LivingLand yesterday. We gave a bird box to more than 50 schools whilst engaging with the 2,800 children about woodland management. Thanks to @Gamekeeper10 for joining us and East Kent Timber for supplying the wood for all those bird boxes.

@wildrye1 @kentdowns6 @stourvalleygame @robsfarm67 We were completely devoid of greys in our part of the world, but have been releasing a small number of artificially reared birds since 2017 and they really seem to be getting some traction now, with numerous wild broods being spotted throughout the valley.

This is amazing news for our local population of greys

Starting to see a few broods of #greypartridge some good reports of bigger numbers throughout the valley.
Just a few years ago we didn’t have any greys in the area, but now most farms/estates around us have some.
