NEWS: We finally know what the Sonic X LOMBABY collaboration is: a life-sized metallic statue of Sonic with a green chaos emerald embedded in its transparent chest. Sonic's "DNA" is encased inside the emerald. #SonicNews

The statue will debut at SEGA Store Tokyo on June 23rd.

BREAKING: Takashi Iizuka has said Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds could receive a third year of content.

Speaking in a new interview with @JeremymKlinger, Iizuka said that if players keep buying the game, supporting the Year 2 DLC, and staying active, the team could move into Year 3 and work with IPs they were not able to secure before.

NEWS: When asked by Klinger which Sonic game he'd remake if he could, Iizuka responded by saying that he'd want to be able to play every single Sonic game on modern platforms, and that if anything was possible and he "could magically do it," he'd want every single Sonic game available. #SonicNews

But the effort it would take to not just port, but remake an old Sonic game is the same it'd take for a brand new title, and he'd prefer to do new experiences. This is in line with his previous answers regarding a Sonic Adventure remake.
