@BBakerHogs He’ll probably be the coach the rest of the season. If they fire him now, a lot of players will decide to transfer out mid season which would put us in a worse spot that I don’t think Petrino could coach us out of. Just salvage what you can and hope for a turnaround at this point
Sad this is so close. He’s a convicted felon, found liable for assaulting a woman, labeled immigrants as criminals, impeached twice, incited a riot at the capitol, never had to live paycheck to paycheck or struggle financially in his life. What are we doing as a country?
@EastonMay247 Honestly not surprised. Noticed things were very quiet with ABR leading up to signing day and once Kenny G left I figured he might want to go elsewhere. Sucks, but we still have talented receivers on the roster.
I swear, hog fans are some of the most toxic and negative bunch. Can y’all stfu and let the actual coaches do their job. Y’all act like the world is gonna end and it’s the most depressing shit seeing y’all act like you know the program better than the coaches and AD.
@GusFantastico I’ve been preaching this all season. Ppl don’t want to be patient and would rather jump to conclusions. A lot of staff and roster turnover during the off-season. We need another year before we can accurately assess and reach a conclusion on this staff and Pittman.
@fqArkansas Obviously have questions about some of his coaching decisions and ability (play calling, time management, etc.), but still think he deserves another season after this one regardless of how it ends. Mostly new coaching staff and a lot of roster turnover this past offseason.
@fqArkansas I think we need to put into perspective that over the off-season there was a lot of roster and staff turnover with new schemes. We should’ve expected issues this early. Could go 0-3 the next 3 weeks and still somehow have 8 wins after a bowl game. We just need to calm down.
@BBakerHogs I believe so. Alot of staff and roster turnover during the off-season, but recruitment has been going well. We probably should’ve expected some of these issues early on this season and I don’t think rebuilding a 3rd time in 6 yrs would be smart for the program.
@JacobScottDavis Still optimistic. Only 3 games into the season so there is still plenty of time left to correct things and catch fire. A lot of turnover on the staff and OL over the off-season, so we should’ve expected some issues starting off.
@JacobScottDavis I think they’re trying to reduce KJ’s chances of injury by turning him into more of a pocket passer, but the lack of play calls utilizing his scrambling and mobility is concerning and surprising. They’ll need it facing LSU and Perkins.
@SSN_Arkansas I’m glad I’m not alone thinking this way. We may not be getting results at this moment, but we’re recruiting well and we still have the rest of the season to go. Even if we go 0-4 or 1-3 the next four weeks we could still end the year with 8 or 9 wins after a bowl game.
Still plenty of season left to turn it around and recruiting has been incredible over the last few months. And this loss wasn’t against a G5 or FCS team either, but a P5 team that’s improved from last year. Let’s use this as a wake up call. I still have faith.
