@IHateSoccerPod Or, you watch European soccer so much, and since that’s the vernacular they use, that you start using it yourself. Eventually you hear it so often that it just becomes a part of how you discuss the sport.
@Jadentheman1 This post really confused me. Maybe you don’t know what the word irrelevant means? My suggestion, take a look in the mirror. Now that’s irrelevant. You’re welcome.
Does a back 3 put (arguably) our best player, Pulisic, in the best position to succeed? I’d argue not. Puli struggles when isolated and having to go 1:1 and he’s best when causing chaos, hopping in and out of the box. It should be considered, but we also need to ask where our goals will come from.
@ProspectsUsmnt As a starter or guy off the bench, sure. His skill set, though, would allow him to play the position. Ball control, press resistant, good passer, and can put in a tackle would make him a decent emergency backup.
@CinemaTweets1 Days of Thunder killed the 80s movie. When you have Simpson hire two assistants whose only job was to ensure there was plenty of cocaine on the set, it all had to end. But it was a good run.
@ConcacafEdgar Didn’t we always know it was a short term deal? Listen to the @scuffedpod interview of @jtbatson. Poch has been critical behind the scenes in helping get our program in order. You may not like him but he has help set up our program for success in the future.
@JohnMorton215 Each player should carry a handicap and a Pace of Play rating. Nothing would speed up play more than publically outing the slowest of us.
