At 45 I felt like I was in my early 30s. At 48 I feel like Im in my 50s. The decline in workout recovery in the late 40s is no joke, no wonder people retire early if they can. 😂

I mean, I’m hardly a fan, but if I was ever to be elected POTUS, there wouldnt be a single tree on any golf course within 100 miles of me by executive order. Larger holes would also be on the table and you better believe “breakfast balls” would make it into the rules.

Spent my morning making comments to the ACGME on the common program requirements. Doubt anyone will read them, but elimination of the EM 60 hr work week will be a travesty. Wont change anything on my end, but still, that needs to stay to protect trainees.

Unbelievable ACEP experience. Got EMRAs most prestigious award. Residency team won sim wars. @nsidaniel11 finished runner up in drop the mic. Multiple projects in the acep research competition. Im so proud of @ConemaughEMres, this was an unreal week for us. Until next year!

This morning, @nsidaniel11 finished as a runner-up in the ACEP Drop the Mic competition. Of the 27 selected physicians in the competition, she was the only resident, the rest were all seasoned faculty. This is an incredible honor for her to even be selected to present as a resident, let alone for her to finish in the top 3, an unprecedented achievement as a resident.
