Yes it did. With the closure of @bioware ... The most devastating news was the cancellation of the next Mass Effect !!!

@EA - Atleast have the decency to sell the Mass Effect IP to some other developers like @CDPROJEKTRED

[Parris @vicious696]

Mass Effect deserved better than this

[AMIT ROY @GamerInVoid]

Exactly this pls @CDPROJEKTRED

[Synth Potato🥔 @SynthPotato]

CD PROJEKT RED! Purchase Mass Effect and Dragon Age IPs from EA and my life is yours.

Please don't let these franchises die forever😭

[AMIT ROY @GamerInVoid]

This is probably the Worst gaming news I have ever heard.

Absolutely gutted.

BioWare you will be missed dearly.

I hope EA releases the Mass Effect and Dragon Age IP so some companies like @RebelWolvesDevs or @CDPROJEKTRED or @WarhorseStudios can take them over

[AMIT ROY @GamerInVoid]

WTFFFFF

EA is shutting down BioWare ...and with it the Next Mass Effect game is cancelled !!!

Holy smokes. I can't believe the next Mass Effect game is cancelled.

What have you done @EA

A note to both @PlayStation and @XBOX ... Please don't bother releasing consoles at those price points..

We don't need next gen consoles. Delay them indefinitely until memory prices normalises.

Even $1000 will be way too much.

Xbox reportedly intends to release its next-generation console in 2028

Xbox reportedly projecting the console to cost $1,200 - $1,800, unless the company subsidizes some of the cost

@CallofDuty @InfinityWard This is your sign to NEVER EVER compromise on the campaign

As a lifelong gamer, I think deeply about how to make gaming better and more accessible for everyone across consoles, desktops, laptops, handhelds, and the developers who build the games.

We power over a billion gaming devices around the world. It’s a responsibility we care deeply about.

Today, five drops.

1) FSR 4.1 is coming to Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards. Tuned and optimized from the 6900 series down to the 6400 class.

For the first time, FSR 4.1 is coming to APUs.

2) All Gorgon Halo and Strix Halo for your mini desktops and mobile workstations.

3) All Gorgon and Strix Ryzen 9 for your laptops.

4) All Z2E and Z2A for your handhelds and for gamers on the go.

5) FSR 4.1 is coming to @XBOX. Optimized for @ASUS_ROG Xbox handhelds and Xbox Series X | S.

We’re still building.

FSR Redstone is now in more than 400 games on Radeon 9000 series graphics cards.

FSR Frame Generation gets more consistent frame pacing, for smoother gameplay.

Ray Regeneration is coming to more games.

And soon, FSR is coming to Vulkan. Another way for developers to bring it into their games.

And don’t worry, we are working hard to bring FSR to more APUs in the future.

Enjoy!

@frontierindica The fact that this is even being shown and flagged makes my blood boil as a Bengali..

Fuck off with your "Satvik Hinduism" and whatnot. Keep it to yourself please we don't need that in Bengal

[AMIT ROY @GamerInVoid]

@nishanth9740 Yep so true. I wish they would start to take campaigns more seriously again post this success

[AMIT ROY @GamerInVoid]

Just imagine..

A game which is mainly made and sold for Multiplayer is getting rave reviews and sales because of it's campaign

Shows again what an amazing campaign can do for this kind of games

[Synth Potato🥔 @SynthPotato]

Modern Warfare 4 is currently at a 92% positive reviews on Steam

This is genuinely the first time I've seen PC players happy with a COD this decade, Crazy what a fantastic campaign can do for these games. I hope DMZ and MP are solid as well, but I play for campaign mainly too!

Call of Duty MODERN WARFARE 4 looks straight up photo realistic with DLSS 5

You can't even tell this "changes artistic intention" as I am pretty sure the devs wanted to achieve as much photorealism as possible within the hardware limitations.

Incredible

[AMIT ROY @GamerInVoid]

@Chandrakbose Absolutely correct. And I am so tired explaining this to non Bengalis

[Chandra Kumar Bose @Chandrakbose]

Just to set the records straight…

For all non-Bengalis who confuse Durga Puja (of Bengal) with Navaratri (outside Bengal), there's a simple big difference in the way it's celebrated. While Navaratri could be religious (as people claim it to be), Durga Puja is a cultural festival. There's a remarkable difference between religion and culture.

Why is Durga Puja not religious, but cultural? Here's a Bongs take!

1. For most Bengalis, they have nothing to do with devotion, and everything to do with celebration. Religion (as it has become) is an organized way to deal with devotees, and the Bengalis are far far away from any sort of blind beliefs.

2. God/Goddess is an image that's alienated from family of our own lives and seen as an authority. To Bengalis, Durga is just a part of our family. She could be termed as the Goddess, but never seen with a God-like image. There's way more love than devotion. It's a very human connection. She's the daughter of the house who's come for Autumn break to her parents house with kids and friends

3. While people outside Bengal may fast as much as they like, Bengalis will continue to feast on Mutton Biriyanis and all sorts of delicious non-veg food (even at Puja premises where organizers often arrange for meals). Had there been any religious angle, things might not have been so simple.

4. Durga Puja as a festival is deeply connected to arts, crafts, music, theater, films ... everything! It's an all-round celebration. Only a very tiny percentage of people would bother to offer prayers. For the rest of us, Durga and the spirit of Durga puja is all in our heart. Even if we offer 'Anjali' (a prayer), our eyeballs hover all over the surrounding beauties in laal-paar-sada-sarees (a beautiful dress that ladies prefer to wear).

5. Durga puja is all-inclusive. Many Muslims in Bengal celebrate it too. Even there are religious Muslims who are the Presidents and Secretaries of Puja committees. No 'religious' festival could ever break these barriers!

6. There are hundreds of government and private awards given for 'Best Puja'. Not a single parameter in judgement relates to the devotion aspect of it. The Best Puja judgement takes into consideration the artistic finesse of the idol-making, the decorations around it, the lights, the sound, the safety measures, the theme, the concept, the social relevance of the theme, etc. It never considers how devotedly people offer prayers. So, devotion doesn't even come in our way of celebrating Durga Puja.

For those who have never witnessed Durga puja in Kolkata but have a lot to comment on it, please do make a visit. Your idea of a festival will change. Our country had no religion, but we thrived on our culture. It's time we pack religions into the sacks and throw them back to the western world (from where it has come) and fall back on our all-inclusive cultural ways of celebrating life once again.

With all the incredible reviews going around for Call of Duty: MODERN WARFARE 4 ...

I wanted to go back to my personal Favorite COD until last year...BLACK OPS 1 and check it with DLSS 5

And good god it looks insanely good

This is the most positivity I’ve seen about Call of Duty in a long long time on social media.

Modern Warfare 4 proves that campaigns matter, and a good one can do a lot to move the needle on the public’s thought about your game.
