As if the naming conventions and timelines of the Yakuza series wasn't confusing enough, now Yakuza games will be known as Like a Dragon taking the name from the spinoff title Yakuza Like a Dragon, so instead of going from Yakuza 7 to Yakuza 8, instead it'll be Like a Dragon 8.
