@AEWhasAproblem I love Punk but this was a HHH decision. When you’re the biggest competitor you don’t punch down as it makes you look like a bully and gives free advertising and reach to the number two competitor. If you are the number two, you poke the bear to try and draw eyes and attention.

@WrestleLight @McgeeDarth69361 I mean I would feel safe taking one from either Logan’s just feels more fluid between the landing and the lariat. Hangman’s has a sort of visible delay quite often between setting his feet on the landing and delivering the lariat. It makes the flip seem superfluous

They’ll leave that to Logan Paul who somehow already delivers it with more impact than Hangman. Before anyone assumes I’m just hating, I would have put Hangman over Jericho as the first champ

@WrestleLight It's not that I don't see it, but I also see botches in nearly every AEW match that make it difficult to watch in some cases. I also suspect WWE will make a point of avoiding putting CM Punk in a spot to do those more acrobatic moves which will result in a botch.

Almost like years of experience in said locker room guiding decision making and process... versus relative inexperience? Knowing the business is a helpful part of running it.

It feels like Randy’s return was a casualty of trying to keep the secret but Randy seemed happy with Punk’s arrival so 🤷‍♂️

@Herebrand @WrestleOps WWE generally keeps its talent and house in order. It’s much more likely he’ll butt heads creatively with management than have any issues backstage since people in the E don’t behave like a bunch of unruly children.
