@fiat_money@TyKeynes All you've done here is prove why empiricism alone is inadequate to study economics. Your example of public deficit = private surplus is that the currency is now worthless because inflation, and the government can't make the calculations necessary to avoid inflation.

@mesmerizedfool@CupasTopNigga@user3927818 It is one or the other when it comes to the essence of what a government is, which is the monopoly of aggression. The centralisation is a consequence of that. Also, yes, if there is a local government, it has a monopoly on aggression over that locality.

@Lily81127145 The basic issue is that anything in the middle is a contradiction, so it can't sustain itself, and it will resolve one way or another. To put it another way, it's a system in transition. The problem is that there is a false dichotomy on what the available consistent positions are
