Anson tried to buy shares in TRCH and shares in MMTLP. I also believe they tried to buy shares in MMAT. @palikaras has more color on that. I flat turned them down when I was CEO of TRCH as I knew they were short. They offered NBH a pittance so they were turned down there too.

Breaking years of silence, Next Bridge Hydrocarbons CEO Greg McCabe sits down with award-winning investigative journalist @laralogan .
Tune in this Friday, September 25th, to Going Rogue with Lara Logan for a powerful episode you won't want to miss! 👇🍿🥤
Last night’s Space with @nbhydrocarbons CEO Greg McCabe, @annvandersteel, and @laralogan was the preview.
Friday is the full #MMTLP interview with Lara and Greg, and everyone should tune in, even if you never owned the stock (trolls are welcome too).
Because the legal filings are the part that do not need a microphone.
If even a small part of what is alleged in the #MMAT Trustee’s complaint against Citadel, Anson and Virtu (who fought tooth and nail to NOT deliver their trading data/record) and what the litigation and discovery process may now surface, holds up, then this story becomes much bigger.
And I doubt those three are the only act on the bill.
In fact, around the 47-minute mark, Lara says it directly: this is impacting an “extraordinary number” of U.S.-listed companies.
She is absolutely right to raise that point.
Because if that is true, then this is not just one shareholder grievance or one unusual market event.
That is a Pandora’s box the financial market system now has to confront.
And when you eventually add crypto, tokenization, and 24/7 markets into that mix... the scale of the problem becomes exponential.
At some point, the machinery around all of this needs a proper reckoning... not another wrist-slap dressed up as “industry self-regulation”, right?
The longer @FINRA’s “financial industry” appears to protect its paying members… ehhh, sorry... nearly said customers!🤣… while retail investors and issuers are left completely in the dark, the harder that model becomes to defend.
And no FINRA FAQ or stonewall can ever truly hide, reconcile, or settle the record after the fact.
If self-regulation means the club looks after the club while everyone outside it absorbs the consequences, that is not regulation. It is a membership organization with a badge.
Now here is the part people should appreciate.
It has taken more than four years to catalogue and map this market plumbing:
-10s of thousands of hours of research by hundreds of members of the MMTLP community.
-Record setting 1,000+ FOIA requests.
-Pro-bono lawyers.
-Media.
-Shareholders.
-Ethical staffers in DC.
And now AI tools...
All working, in one form or another, toward resolution for more than 65,000 families.
And in doing so, I am convinced it can also help educate Congress; so that future generations, entrepreneurs, investors, teachers, veterans, and the middle class more broadly, are better protected.
Listening to yesterday’s Space, I kept thinking... HOW do you explain the #MMTLP fiasco to someone who doesn’t know a CUSIP from a boarding pass?
How do you explain it to someone with no financial background?
-At a family dinner.
-At the bar with friends.
-Over coffee with colleagues.
-Or to a complete stranger.
No technical jargon. No alphabet soup. No market-structure lecture... I’ve admittedly inflicted enough of those on people already! 😎
Just a picture everyone can understand.
So I started placing all the actors we have come across over the last four or five years into one setting. Yes... including the trolls! (You know who you are🧌)
Let’s place all of them in one place:
an airport...
Welcome to MIA:
MARKET INTEGRITY AIRPORT
Where market integrity occasionally goes missing in action.
...your departure board reads:
FLIGHT: MMTLP
DESTINATION: NEXT BRIDGE
GATE: U3
STATUS: HALTED
LUGGAGE: UNRECONCILED
Next post: the airport.
Greg recently sat down with former CBS News and 60 Minutes correspondent Lara Logan for a hard-hitting, in-depth interview on her break-out new podcast series, “Going Rogue with Lara Logan.”
After nearly four years, Next Bridge Hydrocarbons Chairman and CEO Mr. Greg McCabe is breaking his silence and speaking publicly about MMTLP and Next Bridge Hydrocarbons.
There’s a lot of interest in my upcoming interview on MMTLP & possible corruption in financial regulation…one of the affected shareholders made this.
$MMTLP 🚨 DELETED TEXT RECOVERY: Former SEC Director of Public Affairs, Scott Schneider, texts Securities and Exchange Commission Chair Gary Gensler to “give me a quick call before you call Stephanie.”
This was during the timeframe the SEC and FINRA coordinated the MMTLP FAQ.

“… This will make the MMTLP situation, just the first of a long series of schemes that will unfold by an organization designed to "protect the public".
Do you really think they'll never do it again?
If they get granted the legal authority to create another "MMTLP" situation, they will create another MMTLP situation…”

Stay focused on your goals and don’t let small distractions get in the way.
In my opinion, It’s going to be a great three weeks. 🇺🇸🫡
Let’s get trending again!
🫵💪🤜🤛
Congresswoman Luna (@realannapaulina),
With all due respect, please stop the distractions. While declassifying historical files makes headlines, your constituents and millions of everyday Americans, including VETERANS, first responders, teachers, and retail investors need leadership on the urgent financial crises happening right now.
You are advocating / spearheading (H.R. 1908) to prohibit stock trading and ownership by Members of Congress.)
If you are truly committed to ending market corruption, uncovering the truth behind the $MMTLP financial scandal must be at the top of your list.
MMTLP represents severe regulatory interference, blatant conflicts of interest, and active resistance to congressional oversight. Banning insider trading means little if regulatory bodies can operate without accountability when working Americans lose their hard-earned money.
We urge you to demand the files, expose the truth, and prioritize accountability for $MMTLP today.

A trader made $26 million on executed $MMTLP trades the morning of the halt and then the transactions were canceled.
But can a brokerage or FINRA legally pull back an executed trade? @HAMShortkiller & @WilliamPFarran1 say no, that trade has been made.
"Trades happened, premarket and in the morning. How can they cancel trades that already occurred?
I don't think they can.
If they did, that would seem to be the starting point for a fraud settlement. $1200 a share
If someone has those statements, that their account was executed, the trades, and then canceled, it would show up in their statement
It's my understanding that's what happened. Money showed in the account and took a couple days and then it was unwound.
Well, if someone has proof of that, that's pretty big. When your trade happens, it will show up in your platform. So if they canceled it, you've got good evidence right there....
When a desk comes back and says too late to cancel, does that mean a trade was executed?
Yes
Yes, I agree. I agree"
