After a month of experiments and hard work, the game now has a fully functional laboratory and has returned to its roots as a first-person simulator and aquatic adventure. I'm thrilled to build something close to the game I truly adoreโSubnautica ๐

@paulavaynshteyn Hello! There were other beta-testers who highlighted a lot of aspects that felt questionable for the game, so I cut them.
Creative process frequently lead to bad design decisions, so itโs pretty normal for games during early stages to shape shift.
I'll post an updated demo version on https://t.co/U3N9ohmFO0 once the "submerge" aspect is fully developed. With Steam it will be a bit later this summer for a store page, and this year for the full release
@thomasbrushdev@reidhannaford Actually do the same thing every time in Unreal as well, and it's logical - you don't want 1M shells in the ocean to cast shadows if player doesn't care
LAB LVL Demo is LIVE
Dear players, I wish you to enjoy the game as much as I enjoyed creating it for you. I truly hope you like it.
