Torn between making an entire custom design for damage and stuff...or literally just using 5e D&D as a basis <_<
I may be overthinking but I want it to be balanced
Current concept. HP will be dished out based on race, class, and level.
**The numbers aren't final, just rough idea that needs a little work**
The bottom has a highest and lowest HP options, which seem a bit too different for my liking... π€
Anyone potentially still interested in a fantasy themed efed?
Decided mostly via a dice roller, perhaps partially angled if the story calls for it. (I'm not ruling it out obviously)
Characters will be able to choose a race, class, and abilities. Which will have stats.
Back at it again! Had an idea for the one pulling the strings in this fed. Would you rather a mad mage who is out of his mind, a shrewd goblin gangster, or a trio of warring houses constantly struggling for control?
After the vote I think I've had an idea to better use powers/abilities/spells.
I'm looking at 4e Dungeons and Dragons, which focused on the use of various powers for all classes. With some tweaking this could work I think
For those interested, I propose I question.
Would you rather structured classes? Eg. Wizard, Fighter, Rogue, etc.
Or be able to freely choose abilities and a basic style, giving your character a more free and open concept?
@BeastofTenHorns Right? So I'm thinking time spent in the fed unlocks more abilities or options perhaps.
So new player could still win against a vet. Also likely using a dice roller for 99% of the action
Progress Report: Currently trying to balance the system and classes, to allow more freedom but leave direction.
Also considering having classes in categories like "Defender, Leader, Striker", and such. But we will see
