Brings back memories. Stalker hype is split into two camps -
1) People who weren’t there for Stalker and are shocked it’s broken
2) People who were there for Stalker and never doubted the game would be broken.
As a 2, WE ARE SO BACK
Stalker 2 is the most broken game since Cyberpunk 2077.
In fact, it's worse and playing it at launch feels like role-playing as a QA Tester.
I cannot recommend this game right now.
Went back and beat Metroid Dread again since I was still in a Metroid kick, and my god is it good. I rarely if ever 100% anything but I had an absolute blast getting 100% here. It is a joy to play.
Was my GOTY on release and after replaying it, I was spot on.
This is more than just a Xenoblade issue now with Geoff. It's a JRPG issue in general.
The dude just can't fathom a JRPG potentially winning GOTY. So he purposely bended the rules this year to snub Persona 3 Reload from getting a nod.
Unbelievable.
@GenePark And as meh as Concord turned out, I'd give it GOTY over something simple like say Sea of Stars or Balatro even if I like those games more. Simple games can be fun too but they're not on the same level as really complex games. Maybe we can have an award for best gameplay loop?
Over the weekend I played through Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission, and man, I grew up with Fusion and I can’t help but love it. But Zero Mission? Never played it. Absolute gem. 3 hours for a first play through and I can see myself replaying it on the regular. Superb
We don’t have to imagine. It imploded on forums etc. it was not pretty. People look back on it as a cunning ruse by Kojima when in reality people were really pissed off for a long time XD
MGS2 is obviously one of the most important works of contemporary art (both definitions) this century, but i can't stop thinking about the velocity with which the internet would implode if any game attempted the Raiden twist 2024 the way Kojima did in 2001
@ZinogreVolt I always points to Matador in SMT3 as the best skill check in RPGs. Sure you CAN grind (as all guides suggested back in the 2000s) but that just delays your understanding. There are like 5 systems all screaming at you to slap Matafor down effortlessly if you’re paying attention
Dracula has once again been slain with the completion of Harmony Of Dissonance. Fantastic game, with a few frustratingly cryptic parts that failed to dull my enthusiasm whilst playing all that much.
Got the best ending then went back and killed Maxim out of spite. Lil bastard
I love that Blizzard are releasing classic versions of their games. It’s like saying:
“Ok lads, we’ve spent years making this game worse. We give up. Here’s the game you loved that we tarnished. Enjoy.”
My only hope is that they don’t do that with Diablo 3 XD
After beating Bloodstained I was still in the mood for some Iga goodness. Booted up and beat Aria of Sorrow. Loads of fun. A bit on the easy side, but great nonetheless.
Contemplating Dawn of Sorrow or Harmony Of Dissonance next. Heck, could always go to Symphony Of The Night.
