Even Keel Gamer

Plays games. Loves games. Enjoys talking about games. Is not a soldier so trying to stay out of console wars. We will see.

Congrats to @WritingRaidah, @GamingNiceTakes, @wormston_95, @Rei_no_Otaku and @bradcampbell29 – they each won a code for Overwatch Watchpoint Pack and some other great prizes. And an extra congrats to @GamingNiceTakes for winning the @BondSarah_Bond Xbox Design Lab controller!

@majornelson #xboxfreecodefriday only one answer to that right now - The Megastar himself. LA Knight! YEEEEEAAAAAAAA

And give me Abe Lincoln in the corner for a hot tag.

[Even Keel Gamer @GamingNiceTakes]

@majornelson Better pack some good friends! #xboxfreecodefriday

[Even Keel Gamer @GamingNiceTakes]

@alkallus It was great getting dates for what we are going to be playing and the new format it made it fly by

[Even Keel Gamer @GamingNiceTakes]

@majornelson The Normandy SR2 because Mass Effect! #xboxfreecodefriday

Almost done with @CallistoTheGame - pretty confident I know the score I'll give it but want to finish up the last hour or so before I give it.

[Even Keel Gamer @GamingNiceTakes]

TLOU on HBO had a great first episode...let's hope the rest of the season is the same. Interested to see how they adapt the events later in the game

[Even Keel Gamer @GamingNiceTakes]

One hour into @CallistoTheGame and it is super atmospheric and I dig that...the dodging mechanic and melee is - just ok. Just got a gun and looking forward to spending more time in the world.

[Even Keel Gamer @GamingNiceTakes]

Excited for this and glad they already got ahead of the Starfield anticipation - that will probably be a FO4 level 30 minute deep dive.

What we need from this is gameplay and release dates. How does it play and when we are going to play it.

Join us on January 25th for our first Developer_Direct. A new approach with no hosts, to share the magic of being inside our studios seeing extended gameplay & hearing directly from the dev teams working hard on some of the games coming for you. https://t.co/PfitWOIsX5

Just started my first ever game of @witchergame - let's go! #Witcher3 #wildhunt

[Even Keel Gamer @GamingNiceTakes]

Now that @highonlifegame and GTA 3 are done its time to move on to my next games - I'm thinking @CallistoTheGame and @witchergame Wild Hunt now that's its been updated. Trying to start off the year by crushing backlog and I like the balance of one "linear" and one open world game

[Even Keel Gamer @GamingNiceTakes]

Say what you want, but Sony is really drilling home their gaming msg this year - its all about Hogwarts, PSVR2, FF16, and Spiderman 2. Unfortunately for me, I'm really only interested in Spiderman 2 (but boy, am I hyped for that). Now, if only Xbox could give us a vision for 23

Kind of weird starting a CES press conference with the Gran Turismo movie. #CES2023

Also, even after rolling credit in @highonlifegame I found myself playing for another couple hours, not just for achievements but also to live in the world a little bit longer. Just another tip of the cap to the people at @SquanchGames and @XboxGamePass

[Even Keel Gamer @GamingNiceTakes]

Just rolled credits on GTA 3 Definitve Edition - not as rough as people were talking about at launch, but it shows its age due to bad checkpoints, terrible aiming and a nothing story. Shows just how far @RockstarGames has come with their amazing stories.

[Even Keel Gamer @GamingNiceTakes]

Just rolled credits for @highonlifegame - man, what a game! So nice to have a main line 12ish hour game that will give you more to do if you want, but you never feel like you have to. Excited to see what @SquanchGames does next. Thank you #XboxGamePass

@vicious696 The best part is that your current reality is a dream for a lot of people (including, at one point, yourself)...so even as you strive for your new dreams, you are still living the dream
