👑 Legendary Enhancement
Legendary Enhancement is now live, and for the first time in STEPN, players can now enhance Epic Sneakers into a Legendary Sneaker.

This first phase starts with Genesis holders.

A few key points:
🔸 You need 5 Epic Sneakers in total
🔸 That includes 4 Epic Sneakers and at least 1 Epic Genesis Sneaker
🔸 Enhancing them together gives you 1 Legendary Sneaker
🔸 Because an Epic Genesis Sneaker is included, the resulting Legendary will also remain Genesis

A few reminders:
🔸 This is the next stage of the Legendary rollout, following previous airdrops and auctions
🔸 Access is being expanded carefully, starting with Genesis holders first
🔸 The goal is to open the system in controlled phases while keeping the ecosystem healthy

🏁 Marathon Challenge Season 2

The STEPN and STEPN GO Marathon Challenge is back for Season 2.

The core idea stays the same: use 2 Energy every day, stay consistent, and make it to the finish line. But this time, one of the biggest upgrades is here: Teams.

Here are the basics:
🔹 Registration opened on March 16 at https://t.co/FTBdKn0uKP
🔹 Entry is locked with 50 USDC or more
🔹 Round 1 runs from March 30 to April 13
🔹 Players must use 2 Energy every day to remain in the round
🔹 Missing a day means elimination for that round

Season 2 also introduces Teams:
🔹 Players can create their own team or join an existing one
🔹 Team captains can create private teams with join codes
🔹 Captains can remove team members if needed
🔹 Each player can only be in one team at a time
🔹 Team results do not affect each player’s individual earnings

And yes, competition is part of it:
🔹 A Team Energy Leaderboard ranks teams by total Energy spent during the round
🔹 An Individual Energy listing within each team shows who is contributing the most

The Season Pass is also back:
🔸 Price remains 20 USDC and it's fully activated after entering 1 Marathon Round
🔸 Includes STEPN OG Premium Membership from subscription until the end of Season 2
🔸 Premium Membership increases the chances to keep Gems after upgrading and to keep a Scroll after minting
🔸 Subscribers also receive 1 soulbound STEPN Common Sneaker
🔸 Plus Marathon Boxes, extra drops, exclusive items, and more surprises

Season 2 keeps the consistency challenge that worked in Season 1, while adding a more social and competitive layer through Teams.

🚨 New STEPN and STEPN GO in-game challenge just dropped: The Marathon Challenge 👟

This one is simple, yet kinda brutal. Here’s the deal: you lock in a fee, you move EVERY day, and you earn GGUSD from participants who didn’t make it!

Join through either the STEPN GO main menu (just tap the Marathon icon) or the STEPN pop-up when you launch your app, then:
🔐 Lock 50 $GGUSD to activate your Marathon Subscription
👉 You can join from either STEPN or STEPN GO (or both), but your participation counts as one single entry total.
🎁 Earn weekly rewards for participating, or upgrade to the Season Pass for 20 GGUSD to unlock extra rewards!

🗓️ How it works:
- Each season lasts 12 weeks, made of 6 rounds (2 weeks each).
- If you miss a round, you can register for the next one before it starts.

🛎️ For Round 1, you must register before October 26 at 11:59 PM UTC.

Once registration closes, Round 1 begins, no late entries.

From there, your one job is to use 2 Energy every day in STEPN or STEPN GO. Simple right?

⚠️ To qualify, you need to complete 2 Energy in at least one app between 00:00 and 23:59 UTC each day.

✅ If you make it to the end: You keep your fee, auto-enroll in the next round (unless you hit “unlock”), and you get a cut of the pool from everyone who didn’t make it: straight to your wallet.

❌ If you miss a day: You’re out. Your fee goes into the prize pool. GGs.

That’s it: just a fun challenge that rewards consistency 💪
