Friendly reminder that ya girl PotatoAim runs an Indie game channel over on Youtube! We cover all different types of indies and give our real impressions on whether they're a smash or pass *see what I did there* Link in bio!
Does anyone else get anxious about going to work so you wind up staying up too late and know you'll be exhausted the following day? Oh just me? Ok cool.
Looking back I've realized, there's a ton of games I would love to go back and rediscover. Kynseed is probably the one I'm looking forward to revisiting the most! It's such an interesting take on a popular genre https://t.co/JPwXRIHz24
2024 is coming to an end, what were some of your favorite games you've played? I've played so many different games because of my youtube channel that it's hard for me to pick!
This was the first game I showcased on my channel. It’s a sweet narrative of an immigrant family. Venba focuses a lot on the significance of food in the Indian culture and how core memories are tied to each dish. It’s a great game!

I’m super excited to see what the new update brings to Welcome to Elderfield it’s such a unique take on a farming sim! Might just have to join their patron https://t.co/TARQrvlbuy @illadvisedlofi
Recently finished The Plucky Squire by @apossf and holy crap what a ride! Everything about this game was a joy to play, hands down https://t.co/OCoSJWeT8D
Sultan’s Game is a deck building nail biting experience. As a pawn to the Sultan you’re working your way through some seriously heinous cards. Will you survive till the end? https://t.co/oJLZHcswUr
A little/alot behind on last weeks video. I was just in the zone for finding new games to play that I forgot that I needed to upload! Hopefully it'll only be a day or two behind.
We've hit 60 subscribers over on the YT channel! I know for some that doesn't seem like much but for me it means the world! I want to thank everyone for having a wee bit of faith in this little channel for Indies!
Hard to believe our game went out to the world exactly two months ago!
We've been working on a new mode that offers a more streamlined and fast-paced game experience for those who'd like to play that way. More soon!
Need advice. The video I'm currently editing is focused on a game that I like but I'm not all that excited about it like the others. Do I still put it on the channel or move to the next game?
New video live over on the channel! We’re diving into Bloomtown: A Different Story. Come join me as I explore the mysteries of this seemingly quiet suburban town set in the 1960s.

@Dathrio Oh man thanks for letting me know! Accidentally put the wrong date lol it’s live now! And yes I’m also making some shorts to go along with some of the vids
Remember that indie game I talked about earlier? Well it's happening! New video is now live over on the channel where we're running through a trees head over run by musically inclined birds in #deathbulge go take a look!

Taking things slow/ at a learners pace even after the first couple of days is terribly frustrating. It cycles back to that whole, I want it and I want it now mentality. A roadblock that many of us need to push through. Deep breaths bois, we got this.
Advice my friend has given me is that if you're new to game design one thing that will be beneficial is following resources that are close, if not similar to the project you're wanting to create.
