I gave that Onimusha Way of thr Sword Demo a try... pretty sure I'm gonna develop carpal tunnel from it but I had fun with it. Looking forward to getting a chance to play it!
@VanishedOmens Atlus might not be doing that anymore. I think p3 reload was them going the DLC route. They admitted metaphor sales may have been lower for this exact reason. Who knows though companies make weird decisions so it wouldn't surprise me if they did.
@JRPG_Warrior I'll add this to. I've gone back and replayed older video Games I never got a chance to play (recently played BoF2) I am constantly blown away at how well some of these games still hold up.
@ALegendaryDrops The hobby has become to expensive I went from buying 2-3 60 dollar games a month to 1-2 60 dollar games a year. Lately I just wait for a sale a year down the road.
The games industry is going to crash and crash hard.
Partly driven by AI, partly driven by failed games.
Where most believe a 1980s crash couldn't happen again due to digital games. If people can't afford to play games, then what is the point of making them?
Atlus Persona Studio Head Kazuhisa Wada says turn based elements in games shouldn't fade away and have timeless appeal:
"I don't think turnβbased elements are something we should let fade away"
"I don't personally feel that turn-based systems are particularly popular at the moment, but I do sense that recent critically acclaimed games have brought renewed attention to them. I suspect the perception of turn-based combat as outdated β almost like a fossil β came about because many developers followed trends and shifted toward action or action-oriented gameplay instead of refining high-quality turn-based designs."
"the sense of exhilaration and accomplishment that turn-based gameplay can deliver has always been there," and remains a "timeless appeal of games."

Are different is just showing they have no clue what they are talking about. The story always follows the four members of Star Fox going to Venom to defeat Andross. I'll give you Star Fox 64 3D that was a port not a remake. Which is why I've said 4 not 5 retellings.
Are people really trying to gaslight us into believing Nintendo hasn't tried to retell the same Star Fox story 4 times? Point out the difference all you want but Star Fox, Star Fox 64, and Zero were the same story retold... different plot beats or not its the same story.
Enjoy the switch 2 remake, I hope it does well. I want to see an original story again, so I hope it does well so we get it. What I won't do is sit here and act like Snes, 64, and Zero haven't told the same story because they have. Anyone out here trying to gaslight you into they
