Finally down to my last week of chemo pills. 2 years of this treatment, and June will be a fresh start from when my cancer journey started. After the death of my grandma, followed by my mom's death in 2022, only to discover my cancer in February 2023, it's been a hard journey.
So, a couple of people know that a few years ago I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. It was 7 cm big and spread to my armpit. Because of that, I had to get the red devil chemo treatment and lost my hair. Well, I am proud to say that I have been cancer free for 2 years now
Meaning, my husband and I will finally be expanding our family. Sadly we're gonna be mostly alone because my only remaining grandparent is so fat away and never talks to me, my siblings don't talk to me, and I only have my dad. My husband's family is all but gone now.
I have a wonderful husband, a beautiful house that I maintain, and can enjoy nature from my backyard despite living within the city. With my cancer journey hopefully coming to a close in the next year or so, I will be looking forward towards my new adventure, which will be scary.
On top of that, at the end of May, I will no longer be on my Chemo medication. I may have a streak of white, my hair has those chemo curls, but I am still alive.
@SwtVahkneel A few white hairs isn't so bad. They new accessories to show off that you battled something and won. Rest up and recover well Vanille. I'm always here to lend you an ear. ^_^
@stephimus_prime Well, you can think of dishes that your families like, or what you guys like. Just remember, it's your guys' special day. Have fun with it.
