@GrammarDomin8rx I believe in everyone's right to choose, and also believe that all should be given these facts by their physician. If you are pro-choice & using these methods, they are (with the pill when it fails to stop ovulation), abortifacients IF you believe that life begins at conception.

@GrammarDomin8rx Both IUDs & birth control pills (in those months that ovulation is not suppressed) set up a hostile environment in the womb preventing implantation of fertilized eggs.

Naming either as a contraceptive is incorrect or inexact. They do not (always) prevent conception.
