On this World Music Day, we celebrate a voice that has transcended generations, languages, and borders.

This tribute began as a dream while Asha Bhosle ji was still with us. We had hoped she would witness the love and gratitude this project carries.

Around the world, we celebrate musical legends. We are blessed to have one of our own, an artist whose voice became the soundtrack of countless lives. The most meaningful tribute felt like bringing together different musicians, traditions, and sounds to celebrate her extraordinary legacy.

This is our humble offering to Asha ji. May her music continue to inspire hearts for generations to come.

Today, we share a glimpse of this journey with the teaser. The full tribute will be unveiled soon.

We hope you all receive it with the same love with which it was created.

While I was touring the US, our preparations for composing the film’s music began much earlier. A couple of years before, my team and I started preparations for the film by visiting Bali with the gracious support of Mani Ratnam ji, who took us there for research and to acquire some musical equipment. We brought these back to India, leading to the creation of numerous tunes. Mani Ratnam ji has an exceptional talent for selecting the most intriguing pieces. His choices are always unique and forward-thinking, perfectly aligning with the screenplay and enhancing the story. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Mani Ratnam ji, @LycaProductions, @MadrasTalkies_, @tipsofficial, and all my dedicated team members who worked tirelessly alongside me, including the musicians, singers, lyricists Ilango Krishnan, Kabilan, Siva Ananth, and Krithika Nelson of PS1. இசையமைப்பாளர் ஏ. ஆர். ரகுமான் நடத்திய இசை நிகழ்ச்சியில் ஏற்பட்ட தவறுகள் கேள்வி கேட்கப்பட வேண்டியவைதான்.

எப்போதும் தன் சார்ந்து நடக்கும் நிகழ்வுகளில் மிகக் கவனமாக இருப்பவர் இந்த முறை நிகழ்ச்சி ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர்களை நம்பி விட்டதில் ஏகப்பட்ட மக்கள் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

அவற்றிற்கான சட்ட நடவடிக்கைகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டும் வருகிறது. ஏ. ஆர் ரகுமானும் தனது வருத்தத்தை பதிவு செய்துள்ளார்.

இருந்தும் சிலர் இந்த நிகழ்வை வைத்துக் கொண்டு வன்மத்தைக் கக்கத் தொடங்கியிருப்பது கண்டிக்கத்தக்கது.

ஆஸ்கார் விருது விழா மேடையில் தமிழில் பேசி பெருமைப்படுத்திய மாபெரும் கலைஞனை இவ்வொரு நிகழ்வை வைத்து அசிங்கப்படுத்துவது மிக மிகத் தவறான செயல்.

இத்தனை வருட சாதனைகளை ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர்களின் கவனக்குறைவால் ஏற்பட்ட ஒரு நிகழ்வால் இழந்துவிட்டதாகப் பேசுவது சரியானதல்ல.

நிகழ்விற்குப் பொறுப்பேற்று சீர்செய்யும் முயற்சியையும் மேற்கொண்டுள்ளபோது மலிவான அரசியல் செய்யும் சிலரின் சந்தர்ப்பவாத பேச்சுக்கு நாமும் ஒத்து ஊதுவது கேவலமான நாகரீகமற்ற செயல்.

அவரது சாதனைகளைக் கூட விட்டுவிடுங்கள்... மனிதாபிமான செயல்களை எடுத்துக்கொண்டால் அவதூறு பேசும் நாக்குகள் சற்று கூசவே செய்யும்.

2016 மழை வெள்ளத்தால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மக்களுக்கு நிதி திரட்டி வழங்கினார்.

2018 இல் கேரள மக்கள் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட போது இசை நிகழ்ச்சி நடத்தி நிதி உதவி வழங்கியுள்ளார்.

கொரோனா காலத்தில் நிறைய குடும்பங்களுக்கு உதவியுள்ளார். லைட் மேன் யூனியனுக்கு இசைநிகழ்ச்சி நடத்தித் தந்துள்ளார்.

ஒற்றை நிகழ்வால் சர்வதேச புகழ் கொண்ட ஒரு நாயகனை ஸ்கேமர் என அழைப்பது சரியான செயலா என சிந்தியுங்கள்.

நிகழ்ந்த தவறுகளை சரிசெய்ய நேரம் கொடுங்கள். அவராகவே முன்வந்து சரிசெய்யக்கூடியவர்தான்.

நம்மில் ஒருவரை நாம் தாங்கிப் பிடிக்க வேண்டிய நேரம் இது. வன்மம் பிடித்தவர்களின் நாக்குகளுக்கு நாமும் இரையாக வேண்டாம்.

மாபெரும் கலைஞனின் சிறு சறுக்கலுக்கு உறுதுணையாக நிற்க வேண்டியது நமது கடமை.

அதேபோல் நிகழ்ச்சி ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர்கள் நிகழ்ந்த தவறுகளுக்கு பொறுப்பேற்று மக்களின் பாதிப்பை உடனடியாக சரிசெய்ய வேண்டும் எனவும் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.
