Disappointed with @HPIndia. My mouse failed within a month. Support says "Carry-in" service only. In a city like Bangalore, traveling 30km for a replacement makes no sense, the commute costs more than the product! Need a better solution than this.

@HPSupport When I called the service center, they said I need to call a different number for accessories. That team gave me only two location options: Mathikere and Domlur. Both are 30km away. I would have to visit once to drop off the product and again a week later to collect it.

Bengaluru Incident
Got a call from my brother in Mumbai, asking if I was safe in Bengaluru. I replied if he was referring to the air force officer clip? He said, yes, and that I as a non Kannadiga must be careful and watchful, and learn the language. Here's what I told him several hours BEFORE the CCTV evidence came out and exposed the officer Shiladitya Bose's lies.
1. What I have learnt after spending 5 months in Bengaluru in 2024 is that Kannadigas are the least aggressive people in India. Among all metros in India, Bengaluru has the lowest violence as the local people are very mild and friendly.
2. My brother said, but still, try and learn Kannada because the Congress is using the language issue to create divisions.
3. My reply: "This officer's version doesn't add up. Firstly, Bengalis are very peaceful and educated people who don't get into physical fights over language. Secondly, the chances of an air force officer in a DRDO vehicle getting into a language spat are extremely small. This could be a road rage incident. I'm 100% sure it has nothing to do with language.
4. So my brother says, "The guy seemed very angry and has said he will retaliate if no action is taken. It seems people are now taking matters into their hands. I'm just telling you to be alert because things are at a flashpoint."
5. I laughed. "Look, Bengaluru is just fine. Plus, the guy's threats are empty. In Bengal they are running away and you think he will retaliate in Bengaluru?"
6. Call it intuition or experience but I felt there was more to it than what the guy was saying. The video looked staged. Bose did not look like a victim. Now look at the CCTV video. Bose is violently attacking a harmless delivery boy. The punches he is throwing could have killed that person. He should get double the punishment.
#UiTheMovie - A Film I Wish I Could Defend
As someone who grew up idolizing Upendra's work, eagerly waiting for every film he directed, "UI" was supposed to be special. It wasn't just another movie for me, it was a promise, a chance to relive the brilliance of a director who could turn metaphors into masterpieces. But this time, I can't defend what I saw.
Upendra has always been known for his layered storytelling, blending deep metaphors with entertainment. But "UI" strips away the entertainment and leaves us with a hollow shell. Yes, there are metaphors, but they feel forced, like a puzzle with missing pieces. And the production, Oh! Where do I start? The sound design, the re-recording, the VFX, all of it feels cheap. It's ironic that the film has a song called "Cheap Song," because the entire visual and auditory experience aligns with that title.
The characters come and go so fast that you hardly have time to connect with them. Greeshma's character is so forgettable that you almost wonder if she was meant to be there at all. Medini Kelamane, playing Satya and Kalki’s mother, delivers more without a single word than many others do with pages of dialogue. Guru Prasad stands out, his performance is one of the few saving graces.
But beyond these moments, there's very little to hold on to. The film is a chaotic mess, and even for someone like me, who has defended Upendra's most divisive works, this feels like a bridge too far. "UI" isn't the Upendra I grew up loving. It's a reminder that even the best can falter and as much as it hurts to say it, this is a film I can't recommend.
