मोदी सरकार ने चुपचाप UPI पर फ़ीस लगाने का रास्ता खोल दिया है।

अब ₹2,000 से ऊपर के merchant UPI लेन-देन पर MDR लगाया जा सकता है। इन ट्रांजैक्शंस की संख्या भले ही सिर्फ़ 5% हो, लेकिन UPI के कुल transaction value का करीब 65% इन्हीं में है।

सरकार कहती है कि ग्राहक से कोई फ़ीस नहीं ली जाएगी। लेकिन दुकानदार पर लगने वाली फ़ीस आखिर आएगी कहां से? कीमतों में जुड़कर ग्राहक की जेब से।

अमेरिकी payment कंपनियां लंबे समय से भारत की zero-MDR नीति का विरोध करती रही हैं। अब मोदी सरकार ने ठीक उसी दिशा में नीति बदलने का रास्ता खोल दिया है।

US Trade Deal की तरह ही, Compromised PM मोदी एक बार फिर अमेरिकी दबाव के सामने surrender कर रहे हैं।

Dear @narendramodi Ji,

I am writing this not as someone opposing the system, but as a small entrepreneur who genuinely wants to build a successful business in India. 🇮🇳

First, I sincerely thank you for UPI and Digital India. What India has achieved with UPI is extraordinary. Today, even a small business can accept payments instantly from anywhere in the country. This is the New India we are proud of.

But I would like to share the reality faced by technology, hardware and other low-margin businesses like mine.

Consider a simple example:

Laptop Selling Price: ₹80,000
Purchase Price: ₹77,500
Gross Margin: ₹2,500

Now, a ₹300 payment charge may appear small compared with an ₹80,000 transaction.

But for the business:

₹300 = 12% of the entire ₹2,500 margin.

And this is only one cost.

If a small business manages to generate around ₹30,000 - ₹40,000 in monthly margin, it still has to bear:

• UPI MDR / payment charges
• POS & Card MDR / processing charges
• GST on applicable payment/service charges
• Bank and account maintenance charges
• Rent
• Electricity
• Internet, software & accounting
• Transportation and other basic operating expenses

So the ₹30,000 - ₹40,000 margin is not ₹30,000 - ₹40,000 in the entrepreneur's pocket.

But Sometimes that Can be a 10,000 - 15,000/- Profit Per Month Due to Price Hike across all Digital Hardwares and the PC Market is shallow nowadays.

It is what keeps the business running.

A business may generate ₹10 lakh in monthly turnover, but after purchasing the products, the actual margin may still be only ₹30,000 - ₹40,000.

Turnover looks big.
Margins are small.
Expenses are real.

And Modiji, I also understand the Government's perspective.

Nothing comes free.

UPI requires servers, cybersecurity, data centres, payment infrastructure and continuous technological investment. As the world moves rapidly towards AI, semiconductors and digital infrastructure, I completely understand India's need to build and maintain this ecosystem.

I am not against contributing to the nation.

In fact, I voluntarily accepted GST registration and its responsibilities even when my business was small and Below the Threshold. I did so because I believe that if India gives us the opportunity to build, we must also contribute to India.

And when I become a self - sufficient and successful businessman and my taxable income crosses the applicable threshold, I will proudly pay my Income Tax.

Because I don't want to simply take from India.

I want to build in India.
I want to grow in India.
I want to contribute to India. 🇮🇳

My humble request is simply this:

Please consider the actual margin of a business, not just the transaction value.

For a large, high margin business, Manufacturers, Hotel's, etc ₹300 may be manageable.

For someone earning only ₹2,500 on an ₹80,000 laptop, ₹300 is 12% of the entire margin.

That difference is enormous for a small entrepreneur.

If ₹25,000 crore needs to be mobilised to support this ecosystem, I have faith that our Government can find innovative alternatives to raise it without placing disproportionate pressure on low-margin MSMEs.

You have shown India that things once considered impossible can become reality.

So I sincerely hope that a solution can be found where:

🇮🇳 UPI remains strong
🇮🇳 Digital India continues to grow
🇮🇳 Our digital infrastructure gets the funding it needs
🇮🇳 MSMEs remain sustainable
🇮🇳 Young entrepreneurs get the opportunity to grow

I am not asking for everything to be free.

I am asking for a fair and sustainable system that understands the difference between turnover and profit.

Behind every small MSME is someone who invested their savings, took a risk, works every day and carries the hope of building something of their own.

I am one of those people.

I remain, as always, a proud Karyakartha, a proud Indian and a proud nationalist. 🇮🇳

Traffic in Suchitra (Quthbullapur & surrounding colonies) is extremely heavy. Taking a U-turn towards Bowenpally/Secunderabad is taking almost 20 minutes. Very difficult for daily commuters. Kindly look into this and do the needful.

This middle class madam you see here pulling her own luggage, always dressed humbly, with a no-nonsense attitude?

She needs a big applause for what India has pulled with a 7.8% growth during one of the toughest global economic climate year.

She has delivered consistent growth for India, maneuvering India through multiple crises, while keeping inflation low and reducing deficit.

She just doesn't get enough credit for what she has done. In fact, she gets hate and mockery mostly. I think just because she's a woman.

But most people are being constantly blackpilled about the economy by foreign adversarial and political propaganda.

They keep parroting "high tax" "high inflation" as if everything was lower before. But the truth is, they were much higher and she has brought all down (taxes, deficit, NPAs, and inflation) while keeping growth good.

Even under this post we will find people complaining because that's how powerful the propaganda is. It is easy to blackpill and make people feel miserable when actually things are better now than before in so many ways.
