The entire crux of Law's deal with him was that Doffy would either get killed by Kaido or get killed/captured by an admiral. He's not that strong

@Plutofreebands @MkiiDonut @imBISLY Did you just stop reading at Zou? Wano showed us that in order to actually beat Jack in a 1v1, Inu and Neko had to go into their Sulong forms. Jack used poison on Zou because Inu/Neko took turns fighting him all day/all night in an effort to whittle him down.

Trying to argue that Doffy could even give a serious admiral trouble is insane, Aokiji merely flexing had Doffy convinced he had to run away.

@Plutofreebands @MkiiDonut @imBISLY Holy LARP, it's the exact opposite. As the story progressed, jack was shown to be MORE powerful. HE scales above all of the Tobiroppo (including Ulti) and it took Sulong Inu and Neko tag teaming Jack to get him near death. The same Inu and Neko who could hurt Kaido LMAO.

@Plutofreebands @imBISLY Nobody in One Piece thinks like this. Everyone acknowledges that characters like Jack and Cracker are far more powerful than Doflamingo, full stop. Oda even hints at this with Nami and Chopper thinking about how characters like Cracker are basically the next step up.

@AJ9ysc @imBISLY the animation is, the event isn't. We technically never saw the fight during the manga cover stories so for all we know Cracker put a far better fight than in the anime. Only Oda knows obviously.

@imBISLY Not really, Kuzan held back more against Doffy because Cracker was actively preventing him and Van Augur from getting Pudding. Doflamingo was simply being annoying and Kuzan wanted to shoo him away. If Kuzan put in the same amount of effort on both, Doffy might be dead.
