Guy in front of me on the plane yesterday, probably 6'5", 280, meathead, covered in tats. Four-hour flight. Scrolling through the seatback TV, he finally picks Sandlot. Watches the entire thing, doesn't smile or look away once.
The credits roll, The End.
Bro presses "Play Again." Watches Sandlot again. The Jet steals home (for the second time) right as the seatbelt sign goes off at the arrival gate. No phone, no e-mail, no music. Just back-to-back Sandlots from ATL to Boise.
Unbelievable energy.
I’m looking at resumes for a new analyst position we’re hiring for and some of you kids are fried we got Ivy League MBAs applying for analyst roles smh
Turn on your replies if you’re gonna ask for thoughts.
My thoughts: you’re part of the problem. Get out of the way. Tomahawk chop is synonymous with great environments in American sports (and pays homage). No single FSU fan is going to be butthurt if the National team uses it
As a stepdad to two FSU students (and a UF grad), I agree the Chop is one of the coolest stadium atmospheres in USA. Personally, I think it should only be played at FSU.
I think there’s some other traditions we can borrow/import other than the chop.
Thoughts?
