To be fair: a lot of people rate Claude higher on pure code quality, and it does win blind reviews more often. But day to day I care more about speed, autonomy, and not counting tokens.

Spent six months on Claude Code and kept hitting limits on the $20 plan after maybe 90 minutes of real agent work. Switched to Codex and just stopped thinking about limits altogether.
