The Dbacks take on the Mets tonight with Corbin Burnes on the hill. While the Diamondbacks have been scuffling as of late, I expect them to take this game with their ace on the mound. Burnes has been up to his normal standard this season, yet he still has a high chase rate and the Mets rank as league average in that stat.

The Mets are rolling out Huascar Brazoban and are opting for a bullpen day. While there bullpen has been great this year, the diamondbacks have been an elite hitting team against opposing bullpens posting an OPS of over 780. Expect burnes to shove, and the Dbacks to get to the Mets bullpen.

The Rays have been scorching hot recently winning their last 5 games against tough opponents in the Dbacks and sweeping the Padres. This team seems to have new life with recent addition of Chandler Simpson adding some electricity at the plate and on the bases. This team has also been super clutch with runners in scoring position as they have the third best batting Average in the league with RISP.

However, the pitching has been the true star for the Rays averaging just 1 run a game against the potent Padres offense. The bullpen has been lights outs with guys like Pete Fairbanks, Edwin Ubers, and Mason Montgomery. Look for their success to continue against the royals tonight.
