I’ll say this every time 70mm is brought up. Why don’t they have the 70mm’s aspect ratio available in any other format? Cannot wrap my mind around how dumb it is? Like on a dvd would it really be so hard to have the aspect ratio of the 70mm IMAX? Or an option for digital? Like???
Just found out about an independent theater real close to me in the middle of suburban utah. They only show 2 movies a week, one is pretty commercial, BUT, the other seems to often be interesting. They did All Quiet on the Western Front (1930) not long ago. WILL be going soon.
