Just to let you know the queue of trucks now stretches from BELGIUM to Calais . That’s about 40 miles . It’s closed . You cannot use the A16

Yesterday French Customs at Calais implemented full border checks on all freight as a trial run in case of no deal.
Today I passed over 20 miles of trucks queuing to get into the ferry port and Eurotunnel. Half of these trucks will have been European delivering into Britain 1/2

The ‘Work to Rule’ action by French Customs officials began on Monday, with intensive lorry checks - aimed at increasing pay + staff numbers ahead of #Brexit
