I love watching these kids compete! DBC Prime got the bad draw, so we played every other game starting at 8:00am. Got the final victory at 9:14pm Sunday night! They were focused and tough. Bo picked up 2 wins, got a save while striking out 8 for the weekend.

Apparently, all our Moms wanted some extra jewelry for Mother's Day, so the boys went and took 1st place and the diamonds. Great tournament win.

DBC Prime 12U got knocked out in the semis by a good team with a great pitcher. We played solid, with 3 wins, several home runs, and some nice defense for the weekend. Bo logged 5 innings, 9 strikeouts, and got a W.

DBC 12U Prime played at my favorite venue, Rocker B Ranch, in the Cal Ripken Regionals. Started the weekend 3-0, but dug a big hole for game 4. Kids fought back after a miserable top of the 1st, but came up short.

2 walks, 2 errors, a balk, and going down 4-0 in the top of the first, I started to wonder about brunch versus bracket play on Sunday. DBC Prime 12-U fought back to win the first game in extra innings. And then 2 more to win the NCS DFW Roundup. Their second tourney win of 2026.

I missed my 3rd straight Homecoming as SMU beat #10 Miami. But I got to watch Bo throw for three touchdowns, and help HP Cowboys win their season finale 28-13. So it was worth it!

Got to enjoy a 3-day weekend baseball tournament at the greatest baseball facility in Texas @rockerbranch. DBC 12U Prime brought home the hardware with solid play all the way around.

DBC 12-U Prime competed in a majors tournament this weekend. Bo got the win in the semis, 6-1. The double play was definitely his best friend, as the infield got us 3 of them. Ran into a slightly different beast in the finals, as we played our first national team.
