In real estate and entrepreneurship, Jaebadiah Gardner (@jaebadiah) stands out—not just as a developer but as a force of resilience and purpose. His journey isn’t just about business; it’s about overcoming challenges, staying true to his vision, and creating lasting impact.
Jaebadiah always had an independent mindset. “I’ve always marched to the beat of my own drum,” he says. Recognizing real estate as a major wealth builder, he became obsessed with learning the industry to create a solid business model.
With no family background in real estate, Jaebadiah had to start from scratch—researching, networking, and mastering the business. "I had to know what I was getting into," he says, understanding that real estate is one of the oldest and most reliable paths to generational wealth.
His biggest strength? Discipline. He created a business plan and followed it, no matter the obstacles. "My first book was Believe in Yourself for a reason. When people truly manifest that belief, they start seeing change." His advice? Stay focused. "You can’t switch the script when times get hard."
Jaebadiah knows systemic racism and oppression still exist, even with his success. “It didn’t just disappear because I secured a few deals,” he says. Instead of letting it hold him back, he uses it as fuel. "I play by the same rules—they just require me to be even more educated."
Jaebadiah hopes to inspire Black and Brown youth. "Success is attainable—you just have to sacrifice and put in the work." His message to his younger self? "The pain you feel now is the hardest you’ll endure. Everything else will be easier."
Jaebadiah Gardner isn’t just building properties—he’s building a legacy, proving that success is about impact, representation, and inspiring the next generation.

Mount Calvary Christian Center in Seattle's Central District will be demolished in early February to make way for an eight-story mixed-income housing building called the Sarah Queen. Jaebadiah Gardner @jaebadiah, the founder and CEO of @GardnerGlobal, says the building will honor the legacy of black women and entrepreneurship and that a significant portion of the units will be affordable. https://t.co/gnZAAFyOJ6
Scope Screenings continues to shine as a beacon for Seattle's creative community of color. The October edition, aptly dubbed "The Spooky Edition," brought together a vibrant mix of filmmakers and artists at the SIFF Egyptian Theater. For attendees like @besagordon Gordon, it was a chance to reconnect with familiar faces like @DamperDeaunte, Kay Gonzales, @Iam_Topp , and @jaebadiah, all showcasing their latest creations.
A highlight of the evening was the premiere of "Sarah," a short film by Jaebadiah Gardner and @ATUANYA honoring Gardner’s grandmother, Spokane Civil Rights activist Sarah Queen Gardner. This poignant project, years in the making, exemplifies the power of Scope Screenings as a platform for sharing stories that resonate deeply within the community.
For three years running, Scope Screenings has provided a vital space for creatives of color to showcase their work, fostering a sense of belonging and affirmation. Founder @scopelex 's commitment to uplifting and elevating these voices has made an undeniable impact on the region's cultural landscape.
The excitement continues as the next Scope Screenings event approaches on November 26th at the SIFF Cinema Uptown. For more information, visit https://t.co/5AkgBW7VLJ.
