@TheAnfieldWrap This Szobo performance is him in a nutshell. Came on and we lost all control in the midfield. Inexplicably misplaced the simplest of passes, blew an opportunity all alone in the box. Then scored a Puskas contender. The dilemma that is Szobo.
@asim_lfc The Szobo Grav combo just does not work. Iraola can't put the 2 of them out there together. One of Trey and MacAllister has to be in at all times.
@Mobyhaque1 Why wouldn't you put Szobo there? Camara clearly takes the deepest position and Szobo has been Iraola's clear favorite in the other spot. Seems like it would be Camara and Szobo, 100%.
@indykaila That play is one that officials must find a way to clean up. More and more teams are deliberately tripping attackers off the ball on counter attacks. It's dirty and it goes unpunished.
@AnfieldSector "We are going to be able to cope on the right". Exactly what you want your massive club to be saying as the window closes. What a shambles.
@indykaila There are bigger needs elsewhere. The midfield balance is wrong and the full backs are weaknesses. Should forget about attackers and get the other pieces needed.
@AnythingLFC_@CraigHope_DM Good. He's far better than Sarr, Lewelling, etc. I'd be tempted to swap for Minteh, but might be better to wait and try that again in Jan if he's healthy.
@AnfieldSector The only option we've been linked to that I would consider a better fit is Minteh. If that isn't happening everything else is a downgrade, so why let him go? He looked really good on the right, let him take that spot and run with it.
@AnfieldEdition@JacobsBen Minteh is a natural Liverpool player. Fits our style perfectly. But we prefer Sarr, of course. Hughes and team are so hopeless.
@Mobyhaque1 Wouldn't have a problem with this if we didn't have other gaping holes in our squad. It makes no sense to add 2 more attackers and do nothing in midfield or at fullback.
