Brilliant news! The Gov has U-turned on plans to scrap call-out pay for Coastguard volunteers.

A massive win for safety across #Carmarthenshire—from the Burry Estuary to Pembrey Beach (pictured). Our coastguards work hand-in-hand with brilliant teams like the RNLI and Burry Port Lifeboat Station. They all deserve total respect and fair recognition.

Glad the Minister finally listened to the backlash. Thank you to all our local heroes keeping our beautiful coastline safe!

❌️Plaid's interim budget, which they lost.
✅️Reform's motion to tackle bovine TB, which we won.

Despite being in opposition, it's clear that we in Reform UK Wales can get things done and are a credible government-in-waiting.

Ten minutes was never enough.

Growing up in communist Romania, my father quietly shaped my politics long before I entered public life. Despite the risks, he would sit me on his lap late into the night as we cautiously listened to Radio Free Europe, where Romanian dissident journalists broadcast the truth that the regime tried to suppress.

Those evenings taught me that freedom is never guaranteed, that censorship rarely announces itself, and that democratic institutions must never be taken for granted.

That experience has never left me. It is why I care so deeply about free speech, accountability and the courage to challenge those in power.

There are aspects of modern Britain that raise uncomfortable echoes of a past I never imagined I would witness again.

There is much more to my story, and in time, I shall tell it.

Huge Reform victory as Plaid are forced to U-turn on plans to hire even more nurses from India, even though our homegrown nurses are struggling to find work.

Yesterday, the UK Gov stepped in to save Scunthorpe steel. What about Welsh steel? What about Llanelli? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
While the elites pat themselves on the back, South Wales is left wondering why our heritage is treated like a second-class citizen. After Port Talbot's blast furnaces closed, we cannot let the same "managed decline" happen to Trostre.
Trostre is a vital national asset:
The UK's ONLY steel packaging manufacturer, putting 100M+ meals on British tables daily.
A global leader with a triple AA+ food safety rating.
Real, high-skilled manufacturing jobs that anchor our local economy.
If Scunthorpe is worth saving, Trostre is worth fighting for. We need immediate investment, not empty "green transition" promises.

We could re tool and re orientate to fill the gap.

Forget pretty gardens > grow potatoes.

Never mind highly seasonal solar in the second worse country on the planet for it > expand grazing and ALL farming.

We will not be able to complete with the buying power of China or America (reserve currency) with our air-based economy of petty bureaucrats and regulatory hurdles (for everything), paper-trails will not suffice or compete with agility and hard currency.

Never mind department of net zero (shut that down) > department of ‘100% food self security’ should be North, East, West, South.

But it’s warm in the summer, who knew…

Talking about food security is not sexy but perhaps this chart will explain why I bang on about it.

If there were an event outside of the UK and outside of our control the UK could find itself short of food by about $45 billion.

That's a lot of food even if you shop at M&S.
