The government and the Bank of England are again calling today for wage restraint to beat inflation - as if the whole cost of beating inflation must fall on wage-earning households and not the companies and banks that are causing it or the wealthy who are gaining. A thread....
@Mcracken17Phil@MercedesBenzUK I've never known a car with so many "common faults" just my luck that mine seems to have them all!!
It's certainly put me off owning another Mercedes.
It might be second hand (with full @MercedesBenzUK service history I might add) but my god! What a piece of crap! Rotten subframe, failed ESL, burned out wiring and now what seems like a terminal ECU issue. The things a death trap. I expected more from a Mercedesπ€ #firstandlast
@MercedesBenzUK@Mcracken17Phil Paid my local garage Β£900 to fix this to get through my last MOT. Should have taken it further but panicked into getting it fixed! Had no end of electrical trouble with it too - absolutely awful car to the point of being a death trap!!
@LewisEldred How about the Welsh Government work on keeping good jobs in the country? The only option the average Welsh person will have soon is what's on the shelf at the local food bank! π€‘
@BBCNews Great, but It's a shame Tom and his management have turned their backs on the fans that got him to where he is for his so called "homecoming" shows in Cardiff. My mother in law is gutted she can't attend as it's "standing room only" at Cardiff castle.
@Jeremy_Hunt why have you again done nothing about the grossly unfair "high income" child benefit charge? A couple with a combined income of 100k/yr can avoid it completely, yet a single "decent" income family can be slammed by it and forced into self assessment?? Utter Madness!!
"I warn you not to be young."
"I warn you not to fall ill."
"I warn you not to grow old."
In 1983 Neil Kinnock warned Britain of the dangers of Tory government.
40 years later, every single thing he warned of has come true.
