@Eyeswideopen69 @typesfaster Far be it from me to defend the Brits, but every hotel I have stayed in, in London over the years has air con, rarely if ever needed it. Also, imagine visiting London and going to the cinema. I have never felt unsafe in London.

Can't say I went to the cinema, because, you know I was in London, so did a bit of sight seeing. Never felt unsafe walking the streets.
